Good day, fellow WoW enthusiasts. Long time no see! Or is it? Anyway, it’s high time we brought up the best in WoW, a Burning Crusade Gearing topic! What is it exactly? How important is it? What are the differences from Classic? We’ll find out soon.
To start things with, equipping a complete high-quality item set is way more straightforward than it was in the Vanilla. Firstly, the number of participants in a raid changed from 40 to 25, and even to 10 in Karazhan. A complete run ensures the group with over twenty pieces of WoW equipment, which makes gearing services ways easier in BC. You are provided with two items per week, and it’s four times more than it was in Classic! But there are ways to go before a player reaches the end-game…
Let’s break things up a little bit. A player reaches level 70, having only some weak equipment after quests. What can they do? Farm normal difficulty of dungeons. After the player gets some blue items, about 70% of slots rapidly increase the power, so the heroic difficulty gates open wide. The WoW road of gearing in the Burning Crusade turns there because it is possible to obtain purple epic pieces, thus significantly growing in power and boosting the strength.
WoW Gearing Boost allows you to carry the endgame BC content.
After obtaining at least 70% of the complete set from heroic dungeons, the player finally becomes fully capable of participating in raids. Another advantage would be spending some money and purchasing, or perhaps, making some crafted items yourself. Specific crafts are decisive. Take the Tailor’s Cape for one. It is the best possible item in a slot you could have in WoW BC. Even raid gearing wouldn’t overtake its bonuses. Another option for artisans is to farm their max-level professions sets instead of farming heroic difficulty. Their unique equipment is at least as good as they would have gotten from the dungeons.
Farming badges are also an option. Each completion of a heroic run guarantees you a badge drop, while normal difficulty only has a 50% chance of dropping. However, you’d have to wait a day for a heroic timer to reset. But in the case of normals, you’re free to farm them indefinitely. Technically, you can not get a boost, and simply no-life WoW for a while and rush gearing in BC if you would have liked to. However, do not forget about real-world time. You would have spent about 12 to 14 hours clearing the heroics alone. Farming normal dungeons on top of that would drain you both physically and mentally. But these are not the only ways of acquiring such a valuable currency. There is also an issue of daily quests, which award you with additional badges.

We haven’t explained all this related to gearing in the Burning Crusade or the corresponding WoW services yet. Weapons cost 47 badges, while rings cost 25 per piece. You could roughly estimate the price of the item you want in days. Certain classes can get better equipment for badges than from raids.
Specific specializations need to farm dungeons at the heroic difficulty to reach an exalted reputation with some factions to trade the equipment they need from the factional traders. These items are better than raid drops on special occasions.
After diligently doing all the stuff we mentioned above for around two weeks, the only way to finish gearing your Burning Crusade character would be to buy our offer or farm WoW raids repeatedly. There would be no need to no-life the game for equipment anymore. Log in, visit the auction, grab the potions, find a group, finish a raid, log out. That pretty much covers the PVE part of gathering equipment in WoW. Level professions, fight in the arena, take part in social activities, it’s up to you. Don’t worry about the items you get from PVP since most of them are of little to no use in the PVE content.
To sum things up, the Burning Crusade requires everyone to participate in social activities more, join the dungeon and WoW raid groups, perhaps even as a carry, to get through with the gearing.
