Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.2d – Top Builds Nerfed

🐺 HomeDiablo 4Guides – Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.2d – Top Builds Nerfed

Hello champion! Librarian Husky is here. I have come up with an overview of patch 1.02d for Diablo 4, which Blizzard Entertainment released on June 3, 2023. It is kind of weird to release patches in the middle of the level race. Perhaps they are trying to release this update before the game officially releases, but anyway, they did it, and I am going to review this patch.

General Changes

Companions and minions now take less damage, so they are slightly buffed, and speaking about Paragon Board… Attack speed is nerfed in half. The glyphs have been nerfed by third parties, with some of them nerfed by two thirds. But all of them are significantly nerfed. After level seventy, the game became harder. Treasure goblins are now spawning way less often in PVP zones.

Bug Fixes & Barbarian

Some of the bugs were fixed. These are minor changes that do not affect your gameplay. Mostly Barbarian was nerfed. From now on, you will take more damage from any resources. The cooldowns of every shout that does literally everything for your character are increased for 6 seconds. That is also the major nerf for Barbarians. Blizzard removed the ability to roll Shout cooldowns from items at all, so that nerfs Barbarians too. Also, you will do less damage because of several reasons.

Druid

The Pulverize build was going to be the best build for Druids, but anyway, they cut this build. There are changes that were buffed, which is nice. We are opening the way to other builds for Druids. The Crashstone Aspect nerf affects the main stat. Main stats for the hard hitters are Critical Strike damage, Critical Strike chance, and the Attack Speed. So it was cut.

Necromancer

Here we have some good news. Most of Necromancer’s changes are buffed. This Class is very interesting, so Blizzard made it more comfortable to play. Blood Lance was one of the worst skills, so from now on, we can try to play through it. Army of The Dead has actually become a good ultimate skill to begin with. We will see how this one behaves.

Rogue

Twisting Blades are nerfed, so the reduction of cooldown and the maximum cooldown is now lower. I don’t know if this is a damage increase – I can’t see the difference. Anyway, Rapid Fire is here to kill one monster. Previously, the Dark Shroud skill at level 16 could make you completely immortal. But we will see how it goes now.

Sorcerer

These changes with Arc Lash shouldn’t be significant because Sorcerers are using a lot of things to proc. So, it wasn’t nerfed in my honest opinion.

The Verdict

What can Librarian Husky say? That class changes should be released after the level race, but not during it. But anyway, these changes compared to other games, like Diablo 3 and Path of Exile, are not so significant. Blizzard nerfed almost everything except Necromancer’s minions. You are still not able to devastate anything, and your resources are not infinite – that is my verdict to this Diablo 4 patch.
