PRO Mouse & Keyboard Tuning — PC Input Optimization for CS2 & Competitive FPS
Professional tuning of mouse and keyboard input for competitive PC play, focused on Counter-Strike 2 and other FPS titles. This service adjusts device and Windows input settings to reduce jitter, improve stability, and produce more consistent response in-game.
What this service does
The tuning combines methods used by Alchemy, Input Labs, and Latency Club to examine and adjust the full input chain: sensor and USB polling, device debounce and actuation, keyboard scanning, and Windows USB/HID handling. Work is performed remotely and aims to make mouse/keyboard behaviour more predictable for high-level play.
Included tuning tasks
- Mouse (HID/sensor): choose a stable polling rate (500–8000 Hz), calibrate DPI/CPI to reduce jitter, adjust click latency and debounce, and correct sensor filters where applicable.
- Keyboard: optimise scan rate and polling, configure actuation/rapid trigger for magnetic keyboards, and stabilise fast presses, NKRO and anti-ghosting behaviour.
- Windows USB/HID: disable power-saving options and optimise input processing and queues to maintain consistent response without relying on third-party utilities.
- CPU/Input coordination: identify USB processing conflicts and adjust input load distribution.
- Final checks: comprehensive polling, response and USB dropout tests.
Who benefits
Competitive players and LAN/PRO-style users who want deterministic input behaviour and fewer interruptions from hardware or OS input handling. This is appropriate for players using standard gaming mice and keyboards who require professional-level tuning rather than basic user tweaks.
Operational notes
- Remote access via AnyDesk or Parsec is required to perform adjustments.
- Please notify ahead of time if you use magnetic keyboards or non-standard mice so special handling can be planned.
- All adjustments are described as reversible in the service details.
