Hey everyone, Librarian Husky here! Patch 14.15 has brought some exciting changes and Item adjustments. I’m here to share the 10 most overpowered builds you need to try right now. Whether you play top, jungle, mid, AD carry, or support, I’ve got you covered. Let’s get started and boost your ranks!

Cassiopeia in the Top Lane

When playing her top as opposed to mid, the longer lane gives Cassiopeia the ability to chase down her targets and finish off kills much easier. There are also more melee champions played in the top lane, which makes landing that harass way easier.

Optimal Build for Cassiopeia

The whole idea behind the setup is to provide yourself with the most amount of kiting power possible. You do this by rushing Rylai’s, going into Archangel’s second, and then finishing off the core with Cosmic Drive third. Rylai’s Rush gives Cassiopeia incredible kiting power from the passive slow, while Cosmic Drive offers bonus movement speed.

Rune Page for Cassiopeia

Many Cassiopeia players prefer to run Rod of Ages, but since her late game is somewhat weaker now, opting for the more aggressive rush of Rylai’s is recommended. The Rune page should consist of Conqueror with Presence of Mind, Alacrity, and Last Stand, followed by Manaflow Band and Transcendence for secondary runes.

Kenan’s Buffs and Builds

A top lane champion who’s going to see significant improvement this patch due to mage item buffs is Kenan. This is because Kenan can utilize two items that have been buffed. Rocketbelt has been the go-to rush item for Kenan for a while, and the additional 100 health it now provides is a substantial benefit.

Storm Surge and Kenan

For Patch 14.15, trying out Storm Surge is highly recommended. In fact, the two-item core of Rocketbelt and Storm Surge has been outperforming Rocketbelt with Shadowflame in recent patches. The buffs to Storm Surge, providing 8% movement speed, combined with its passive movement speed boost, make Kenan’s R plays significantly more lethal.

Benefits of Storm Surge

If Kenan can stick onto his target, he has no issues bursting them out. This movement speed from Storm Surge is a significant advantage over Shadowflame. Additionally, consider using Electrocute as Kenan’s keystone rune. The early game damage and cooldown buffs on Electrocute give Kenan stronger bully strength, especially against melee top laners.

Dark Harvest on Poppy Jungle

A setup that has been under the radar and has become even more effective in Patch 14.15 revolves around Dark Harvest on Poppy Jungle. While most players in solo queue are currently using Phase Rush for the keystone rune, those who switch to Dark Harvest are seeing about 3% higher win rates. Dark Harvest was buffed a few patches ago and has been buffed again in 14.15, providing more incentive to use it.

Rune Page and Item Build

Here’s the optimal Rune page: take Dark Harvest with Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection, and Relentless Hunter, with Celerity and Water Walking as secondaries. For an offensive, snowball-focused build, start with Eclipse as your rush item. This setup is not very common on Poppy, making your burst power unexpected and extremely potent. After building Eclipse, transition into more tanky items to maintain your presence in fights.

Storm Surge and Kenan

For Patch 14.15, utilizing Storm Surge is highly recommended. The combination of Rocketbelt and Storm Surge has been performing better than Rocketbelt with Shadowflame in recent updates. The buffs to Storm Surge, which provide 8% movement speed along with its passive boost, make Kenan‘s R plays much more devastating.

Benefits of Storm Surge

If Kenan can stay on his target, he has no trouble eliminating them. This movement speed from Storm Surge offers a significant advantage over Shadowflame. Also, consider using Electrocute as Kenan’s keystone rune. The increased early game damage and reduced cooldown on Electrocute enhance Kenan’s bullying potential, especially against melee top laners.

Dark Harvest on Poppy Jungle

A strategy that has been underutilized and has become more powerful in Patch 14.15 is Dark Harvest on Poppy Jungle. While most solo queue players use Phase Rush as the keystone rune, those who switch to Dark Harvest are experiencing about 3% higher win rates. Dark Harvest received buffs a few patches ago and has been further enhanced in 14.15, making it more appealing.

Rune Page and Item Build

Here’s the optimal Rune page: select Dark Harvest with Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection, and Relentless Hunter, with Celerity and Water Walking as secondaries. For a more aggressive, snowball-focused build, start with Eclipse as your first item. This setup is uncommon on Poppy, making your burst damage surprising and extremely effective. After completing Eclipse, transition into more tanky items to maintain your effectiveness in battles.

Malignance for Aurora

One of the best ways to ensure your R is available more frequently is by running Malignance, which provides ability haste for your R cooldown. As a second item, Liandry’s is very standard with all Aurora builds right now, as both passives from Liandry’s synergize perfectly with Aurora’s playstyle.

Item Build for Aurora

For the third item, Cosmic Drive is recommended, especially since it has been buffed for this patch. While Fleet Footwork was the top-performing keystone on Aurora in higher elos throughout patch 14.14, its nerf in this patch suggests trying out the Electrocute page instead.

Rune Page for Aurora

Using Domination as the primary and Precision as the secondary is proving to be the most effective for Aurora. Many players have been opting for Sorcery as their secondary, but Precision is showing better results, so it’s worth a try.

Silas Adjustments

Silas has undergone significant adjustments in this patch, with Riot reducing his AP ratios and adding health scaling to his W. As a result, a squishy AP build with Lich Bane and Shadow Flame is less appealing.

AP Bruiser Setup for Silas

An AP Bruiser setup is gaining more value this patch, with Cosmic Drive always being a solid option for Silas. With its recent buff, using it as the second item is much better. Additionally, Rocketbelt has been buffed this patch, making it an excellent rush option for Silas.

Rocketbelt on Silas

Rocketbelt has consistently been a high win-rate rush item for Silas in recent patches but has often been overshadowed by Lich Bane. Given the changes to Silas and the recent buffs to Rocketbelt, it’s definitely worth trying out. Many Silas players in higher elos have been favoring Rocketbelt recently, reinforcing its effectiveness.

Optimal Rush for Silas

We believe this will be the most optimal rush for him moving forward. The Rune page will also change. When using this more bruiser-like build, Electrocute won’t be as effective. Instead, you should take Conqueror, as it allows you to stay in fights longer, stacking up Conqueror and maximizing its benefits.

Rune Page for Silas

The complete Rune page includes Conqueror with Presence of Mind, Alacrity, and Last Stand, while Second Wind and Unflinching are chosen for secondaries.

Jinx’s Optimal Build in 14.15

A build that has gained significant value for Jinx in 14.15 involves dropping Kraken Slayer as your rush item in favor of Infinity Edge. With Kraken nerfed, rushing Infinity Edge becomes more beneficial. Jinx players in previous patches who rushed Infinity Edge had higher win rates compared to those using Kraken Slayer.

Benefits of Infinity Edge Rush

Rushing Infinity Edge provides substantial follow-up burst potential, as the extra AD enhances your W and R damage. This is especially effective when paired with a melee support who can engage and deal a significant amount of damage, allowing you to quickly burst down the target they focus on.

Recommended Three-Item Core for Jinx

The recommended three-item core for this patch includes Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, and Bloodthirster. Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster offer a large amount of AD, while Phantom Dancer serves as the attack speed item.

Rune Page Changes for Jinx

With the nerf to Fleet Footwork, the Rune page for Jinx will see some adjustments. Press the Attack has already proven to be the better analytical performer on Jinx in recent patches, so it should be your go-to choice moving forward.

Dark Harvest on Jhin

A rune setup that has fluctuated in and out of the meta over the years and should be reconsidered for Patch 14.15 is Dark Harvest on Jhin. With Fleet Footwork nerfed and Dark Harvest buffed, it’s the perfect opportunity for Dark Harvest to regain its priority. The reduced early game sustain from Fleet means you might as well take Dark Harvest to boost your damage output.

Optimal Rune Page for Jhin

Dark Harvest should definitely be your choice when paired with an aggressive melee support like Leona, Nautilus, or Blitzcrank. These supports aim to engage in lane, allowing you to accumulate Dark Harvest stacks easily. The optimal Rune page includes Dark Harvest with Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, and Treasure Hunter, while Presence of Mind and Cut Down are recommended for secondaries.

Build for Jhin with Dark Harvest

For the build on Jhin, especially when using the Dark Harvest rune setup, focus on an AD-heavy core with The Collector as your first item and Infinity Edge as your second. Static Shiv rush was gaining popularity on Jhin, but with its nerf, reverting to rushing The Collector is the better choice.

New Seraphine Setup

This new Seraphine setup was highlighted in our recent solo carry guide for Patch 14.15. We wanted to include it in the OP builds guide as well for those who may have missed it.

Seraphine Support Build

Seraphine Support has experienced a significant win rate increase in the past patch, largely due to this new build. Traditionally, Seraphine players have favored Dream Maker or Realm Spike for their item upgrade, but the focus has recently shifted to Solstice Slay.

Popularity of Solstice Slay

Many high ELO Seraphine players are now using Solstice Slay and achieving far better results than others across all ELO brackets. In patch 14.14, Solstice Slay as the item upgrade had a 54% win rate over 22,000 games, an impressive statistic.

Benefits of Solstice Slay

Why is Solstice Slay so effective? It synergizes excellently with the new build for Seraphine, which includes Echo of Helia and Moonstone. Both Helia and Moonstone complement heals well, and using Solstice Slay provides an additional method to heal your teammates beyond Seraphine’s W.

Defensive Rune Page

For even greater defensive power, the recommended Rune page now uses Guardian instead of Aery. Guardian offers a larger shield than Aery, making it especially valuable against compositions with numerous assassins or dive champions.

Shen as an Under-the-Radar Support Pick

An interesting and often overlooked support pick that can achieve great success is Shen. Although Shen support has appeared intermittently in the meta, it has been a while since he has had significant value in the role. With the strength of Warmog’s Armor and the current state of the support meta, Shen is an excellent choice.

Viability of Shen Support

Shen support is becoming increasingly viable. Shen is an excellent pick against Leona because when Leona dives in, Shen’s taunt can keep her off your carry, and his W can block her Q stun.

Shen’s Ultimate and Melee Supports

Shen’s ultimate is a strong counter to many melee supports, as they aim to all-in and quickly burst down a target. Shen’s R shield mitigates a lot of that burst damage. Bloodsong as the item upgrade is ideal for Shen because when he dives in and taunts a target, he reliably procs Bloodsong’s bonus damage.

Warmog’s Armor on Shen

Warmog’s Armor is an excellent rush item for Shen because his R shield scales with health. Warmog’s provides a substantial 1000 bonus health, greatly enhancing the shield from Shen’s R. The optimal Rune page includes Aftershock with Shield Bash, Second Wind, and Revitalize, while Cheap Shot and Ultimate Hunter are selected for secondaries.
