Hello, guys, Librarian Husky is here and today we’re going over the last changes in this patch, and tips for it!
Analysis of AP Item Changes in Patch Update
So, with all the AP item changes going live for this patch, we now have a really good idea as to how they’ve landed and which champs have been impacted the most. So, we’ll be covering that and much more in today’s video as we provide you guys with an update on all the emerging trends and the solo Q tier list for every single role. And it’s no secret that League’s ranking system is designed to trap you. It pulls you in with those games where everything clicks and you carry hard only to balance it with frustrating matches that feel unwinnable from the start. This cycle keeps you grinding, hoping for change but never quite breaking through.
Analysis of Akali’s Power Spike in Patch 25.10
And with that being said, let’s get into it. So, starting off up in the top lane, one champ who has seen a nice spike in power due to the item changes is Akali. If you guys watched the pre-patch tier list, we noted that we’d have to wait until the changes went live to know as to whether or not Storm Surge landed in a stronger or weaker state. And it’s definitely in a stronger spot for 25.10. For Akali specifically, Storm Surge Rush has gained over 1% win rate.
Akali’s Win Rate Increase in Patch 25.10
So, the cost dropping and movement speed being added has outweighed the loss in movement speed on its passive and loss of 30 gold on takedowns. And it’s not just Akali either. We’re seeing this across the board for all Storm Surge users as they’ve gained around 1% win rate for 25.10.
Akali’s Matchups in the Top Lane
Top lane Akali has some pretty good matchups in meta right now, too, as she fares very well into the majority of most played fighter top lane champs. The only top laner she’s had an overly negative win rate against in recent patches is Shen, as his W does a good job at limiting your trading strength.
Top Lane Akali’s Position in Patch 25.10
So, overall, top lane Akali is definitely in the best spot that she’s been in all season long and is being moved up into the S tier for 25.10. So, as we reach the midway mark of the patch, a lot of our pre-patch predictions have played out really well for top lane.
Impact of AP Item Buffs on Top Lane Champions
Kale is in an incredibly strong spot at the moment due to the fact she benefited from three of the AP item buffs. We weren’t sure as to whether Teemo would gain or lose power due to the item changes going to the patch, but now that they’ve been on live servers, it’s clear that they’ve more negatively impacted him.
Effects of Leandre’s Core Item Changes
Basically, any champ who runs Leandre’s as a core item is in a weaker state for 25.10, even if they’re able to build items that got buffed as well.
Current State of Top Laners in Patch 25.10
So, even though Teemo can build Nashers and Malignants, the Leandre’s nerf outweighed those buffs, and he’s in a weaker state overall. Singed, Rumble, Casio, and Rise are a few other top laners in weaker states for 25.10 due to the item changes. Cass and Rise are weaker due to the serifs changes, while Singed and Rumble have fallen because of the Leandre’s nerf. With Cho’Gath buffed for 25.10, we had moved him into the top lane S tier during the pre-patch tier list, and that has been the correct decision as he’s back in a really strong spot. You could even argue for a spot in the OP tier for Cho right now.
Elise’s Strength in Patch 25.10
So, he’s without question the best pure tank that you can play. So earlier in the video, we mentioned how storm surge users have seen a nice spike in power for this patch, and one of the best in the jungle is Elise. It’s not just storm surge either, as Lichbane got buffed, and it’s also a viable rush item for Elise. So, both of her two rush options became stronger for 25.10, which just puts Elise in an incredibly strong spot. Overall, Elise is definitely a little more of a high elo skewed champion.
Analysis of Champion Tier List Update
And so if this were a tier list for challenger only, we’d have her in the OP tier, but factoring in the majority of ranks and the fact that Elise isn’t as optimal in the lower ELO, she’s going to be placed in the S tier. So still a really strong champion to pick up right now, but you can’t expect to see immediate results with Elise if you’re brand new to the pick.

Impact of Patch Changes
Other than Elise, Evelyn was one of the bigger risers for this patch, which is something we predicted in our pre-patch tier list. Evelyn’s overall win rate has jumped up over 1%, and it’s all due to the fact that her core build is now 400 gold cheaper. Lichbane got buffed so that it’s 300 gold less expensive and then Robodons is 100 gold cheaper.
AP Assassin Junglers Making a Comeback
So these AP assassin junglers are back in business for 25.10 as the more AP bruiser Leandre’s junglers have taken a back seat. So if we have a look at the jungle tier list, Evelyn and Elise were the two champs who gained the most amount of power for 25.10 while we have a bunch who ended up losing strength. Any champ who builds Leandre is in a much weaker state right now and we are adjusting a few champs even further down the tier list being Lilia and Diana. Diana does have the alternative build of going for Nashers with Lichbane, but even that build isn’t performing all that well in Diana jungle for this patch. So, she’s just in a much weaker state now because of how effective the Leandre’s build was for her.
Impact on Jungle Tier List
The resurgence of AP assassin junglers in patch 25.10 has shaken up the jungle tier list. Evelyn and Elise have emerged as powerful contenders, while champions reliant on the Leandre’s build have suffered setbacks. Notably, Lilia and Diana find themselves weakened, with Diana’s Nashers and Lichbane build failing to deliver in the current jungle meta. The shift highlights the diminishing viability of the Leandre’s build across the jungle landscape.
Champion Picks and Tier List Changes
So, overall, Leandre’s users like Amumu, Noo-Noo, Diana, Lilia, and Udier are all much less effective for 25.10. Your AD fighters like Jarvin, Warwick, Brier, and Shinszou are all really strong pickups. And then, if you want an AP jungler in your champion pool right now, then Elise, Evelyn, and Ekko are all top tier. One mid-lane champ who’s getting bumped up the tier list for mid-patch is going to be Lux. So Lux is a mid laner who benefits from multiple item changes as she can either rush Ludens or Malignance, which were both buffed, and then she builds Storm Surge second, which was also buffed.
Key Picks in the Current Meta
Amumu, Diana, and Udier have seen a decline in effectiveness in the latest patch 25.10. Conversely, champions like Warwick, Brier, and Shinszou are considered powerful choices for AD roles. For AP jungle champions, Elise, Evelyn, and Ekko are currently dominating the top tier. Lux, a mid-lane champion, is gaining popularity due to favorable item adjustments, making her a strong pick in the mid-patch updates.
Analysis of Mid-Lane Mage Priority
So when it comes down to mid-lane mage priority right now, Lux is currently outclassing champs like Victor and Ari, who have been heavily indirectly nerfed. So for Lux’s tier list placement, you’re going to find her moved up one tier, going from A into S.
Importance of Correct Build for Zerith
If you’re going to be playing Zerith for 25.10, it’s really important to get his build correct. If you watch the pre-patch tier list, then you’d already know that Horizon Focus is in a weaker spot for 25.10. Despite this, Horizon continues to be the most purchased second item on Zerith.
Zerith’s Power Shift in the Current Patch
But with Storm Surge getting buffed, it’s heavily outperforming. To put this into perspective, Horizon Focus ended up losing about 2% win rate as Zerith’s second purchase, while Storm Surge has gained 2% win rate. So, that’s a 4% swing in power in favor of Storm Surge, which is actually very significant. To get the most out of Zerith this patch, you really want to try out the two-item core consisting of Ludens into Storm Surge. This build is making Lux incredibly powerful and it’s also an amazing setup for Zerith.
Mid Lane Tier List Update
So Zerith will be placed in the mid lane S tier for 25.10 rivaling Lux as one of the top-tier mages. The mid-lane meta has seen a pretty big shift in priority for 25.10. So let’s break it all down.
Changes in Champion Priority
Falling significantly in priority for this patch has been the likes of Ari, Victor, Aurelian Soul, Rise, Quay, Tia, and Cassia. For Ari, she is actually not in a bad spot though relative to the rest as long as you’re playing the correct build.
Ahri Build Options in League of Legends
Most Ahri players are still going for the Rod of Ages into Leandre’s core. And if you’re playing her that way, she’s definitely not an S tier champ. If you’re playing her with a malignance rush into Lichbane second though, then Ahri is still a really good pickup.
Impact of Item Changes on Champion Viability
Quay, Aurelian Soul, Casio, and Tia have all become weaker due to them either being reliant on Leandre’s or Archangels. And with both of those items falling in power, it’s led to an indirect drop in strength for those champs.
Top Performing Mages in Patch 25.10
Mages who are not reliant on Leandre or Archangels are the ones we are seeing excel the most for 25.10. So Annie, who we have in OP tier, is incredibly powerful because her core build consists of malignance into storm surge, and both of those items were buffed. Lux, Zoe, Velcos, Nico, and Zerith are all very strong S tier pickups. So the days of Hay, Victor, and Ari being the most dominant mid-lane mages are definitely over for now, as if you can play any of those S tier mages that we just mentioned, then you should be looking to do so. So one of our pre-patch predictions that we ended up being wrong about were the buffs to Smolder.
Smolder’s Power Spike
Smolder has seen a really big spike in power due to his buffs as they’ve shifted his win rate up by over 2%. This now actually puts Smolder in the upper percentile for ADC, and he’s getting a significant boost up the tier list for mid-patch, going from B into S tier. If you guys watched our OP builds video for this patch, then you’d know of the new hubris into Infinity Edge build going around on Smolder. Something that makes Smolder even more appealing right now, besides the fact he was heavily buffed, is that he can adapt his build based on the game extremely well. You can opt for the more durable core of Essence Reaver into Spear of Shojin if you’re playing into a comp with heavier dive or burst threat.
Adaptable Build Options
Smolder’s adaptability in build options has become a key strength, allowing players to tailor their item choices to the specific threats they face in-game. The shift in power from the recent buffs has elevated Smolder to a prominent position in the ADC realm, making him a strong contender in the current meta. The flexibility to switch between different item paths, such as transitioning from Essence Reaver to Spear of Shojin, enhances Smolder’s effectiveness against varied enemy compositions.
Effective ADC Itemization in Patch 25.10
While going for hubris into Infinity Edge is the highest DPS two-item core that will work great into comps with less dive threat or if you’re paired with an enchanter support who can keep you nice and safe in our ADC itemization course where we break down the best builds for every single ADC. You can see Hubris into Infinity Edge outclassing all the other popular smolder builds when it comes down to dealing the most damage. So, it’s a really strong setup for 25.10.
Meta Outlook for ADC in Patch 25.10
So, the broader outlook on the ADC meta has not changed all that much for 25.10 as Smolder moving up is the only significant adjustment. If you really want some free ELO right now, then Lux in the bot lane is absolutely disgusting for 25.10.
Senna’s Performance in Different Lanes
We noted earlier on how she’s top tier for mid lane, but she’s even more ridiculous for bot lane as it’s so hard for enemies to actually punish her in lane. For an update on Senna, she is back in a viable spot for sure, but just a tad weaker than what we had expected going into the patch. So, instead of being placed in the A tier, we are dropping her down to B for mid-patch. It’s still early on though and meta builds haven’t really been 100% figured out on Senna ADC yet. So, if there’s a setup that pops up in the coming patch that makes her really good, she could be moved back up the tier list.
Senna’s Strength in the Bot Lane
The difficulty for enemies to punish Senna in the bot lane makes her a strong pick. While she was previously considered top tier for mid lane, her performance in the bot lane is even more impressive. Despite being slightly weaker than expected, Senna remains a viable choice and may see a rise in her tier placement with the emergence of optimized ADC builds.
Optimal Build for ADC in Patch 25.10
Right now, what’s working best is a ghost blade rush into fire cannon second and infinity edge third. And then moving on down to the support role.
Changes in the Support Role
Much like ADC, there isn’t too much to discuss for the role in 25.10. Fiddlestick’s nerfs have ended up landing a bit more significant than what we were expecting. So, he will be moved out of OP tier and into S.
Meta Shift in Support Champions
Fiddle support is still a really good pickup, but just not that true OP pick like he was in previous patches. Braum is taking over as that number one support for solo Q now that Fiddle is nerfed. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a Braum nerf come through in the next few patches, so take advantage of him while you can.
Impact on Support Tier List
With Lulu nerfed for this patch, it’s put even more priority back on Nami, and she’s getting bumped back into the OP tier. Braum and Nami are the two supports who are just excelling above everyone else right now.
Best Support Picks for Patch 25.10
So OP tier is a great fit for both. If you want to play a more solo carry-oriented support for this patch, then look into picking up Elise.

Elise – The Versatile Support
Elise is not only great in the jungle for this patch, but she’s top tier for support as well due to storm surge getting buffed.
Leblanc Support – Rising Win Rate
Leblanc support is another who has seen a good spike in win rate for 25.10 as she likes to run the buffed core of Ludens into Storm Surge.
Priority on Braum
So, in terms of melee supports right now, prioritize Braum the most.
Choosing the Best Support Champion
For enchanters, Nami is on top. While for a more damage-oriented support, either Elise or Leblanc are your two best.
