Item and Rune Changes
Let’s begin by covering all the item and rune changes. First up are some buffs to Dark Harvest. The cooldown of Dark Harvest is being lowered from 40 to 35 seconds, while the on-takedown reset timer is reduced from 1.5 to 1 second.
Cosmic Drive Adjustments
Cosmic Drive is seeing some notable changes this patch, with its health increasing from 250 to 350. The movement speed is also being adjusted, shifting from 25 scaling to 60 to 40 scaling to 60.
Hextech Rocketbelt and Storm Surge Buffs
Hextech Rocketbelt is also receiving a health boost, increasing from 300 to 400. Storm Surge is getting two buffs: its passive bonus movement speed is increasing from 25% to 35%, and passive damage for ranged champions is rising from 75% to 80%.
Void Staff Enhancements

Item Buffs and Nerfs
Death Dance is receiving a significant buff with its armor increasing from 40 to 50. Now for the nerfs: Kraken Slayer is losing some power, with its movement speed dropping from 7% to 5%. Additionally, its passive damage for ranged champions will now only deal 80% of the previous value.
Static Shiv Nerfs
Static Shiv is being nerfed similarly to Kraken Slayer, with its movement speed reduced from 7% to 5%. The price of Shiv is also increasing from 2800 to 2900 gold.
Lord Dominik’s Regards and Mortal Reminder Adjustments
Lord Dominik’s Regards is becoming less effective against tanks, with its armor penetration reduced from 40% to 35%. Mortal Reminder is also taking a hit, with its AD dropping from 40 to 35.
Fleet Footwork Changes
Riot is adjusting the scaling on Fleet Footwork for patch 14.15, making it weaker early on but stronger after level 14. The healing will change from 8 scaling to 110, to 5 scaling to 120.
Champion Buffs
Examining the Champion buffs, it seems Riot is unsure about Varus. They buffed his W max builds a few patches ago, but are now significantly reducing its strength for 14.15. His base AD is increasing from 57 to 59. W on-hit damage at max rank is being reduced from 35 to 25. Minion passive attack speed is increasing at all levels. Champion takedown passive AD and AP are increasing from 15% of attack speed to 25% of attack speed. Champion takedown passive attack speed cap is also increasing, from 2.76 to 3.
Yasuo and Talon Buffs
With Kraken Slayer being nerfed this patch, Riot is buffing Yasuo, a major Kraken user this season. His E damage is increasing from 60 scaling to 100, to 70 scaling to 130. E attack scaling is changing from 15% scaling to 25%, to a flat 25%. Base armor is also getting a buff, increasing from 30 to 32. Talon is receiving a slightly unusual buff for this patch.
Champion Nerfs in Patch 14.15
Riot stated Talon’s Q is now always going to target his enemy correctly, appearing more like a bug fix. As for the Champion nerfs, five champions are being weakened this patch.
Leona Nerfs
Starting with Leona, her passive damage is dropping from 32 scaling to 168, to 32 scaling to 151. W damage is also being reduced from 55 scaling to 195, to 55 scaling to 175.
Aurora Nerfs
Aurora has been performing exceptionally well for a new champion release, so Riot is hitting her hard with a few nerfs. Passive movement speed is being reduced from 5% to 2%. Passive movement speed will now scale with 3% per 100 AP. R base damage is being reduced from 250 scaling to 500, to 200 scaling to 450. R AP ratio is also taking a hit, going from 65% to 60%.
Aurelion Sol Adjustments
The 14.14 Aurelion Sol adjustments gave him considerable strength in lower elos, so Riot is dialing that back for 14.15. His Q AP ratio is being reduced from 55% to 50%. Q burst base damage is being lowered from 55 scaling to 95, to 55 scaling to 75. Q burst damage will now scale off 12% of passive stacks. Q max health damage is being reduced from 3.1% to 3% of stacks. E mana cost is being increased from 80 to 90, and E will now grant an extra passive stack if at least four enemies die during its use.
Shyana Nerfs
Shyana has become highly prioritized in solo queue over the past few patches, leading Riot to nerf her for patch 14.15. Her E base damage is increasing from 60 scaling to 220 to 85 scaling to 245. The 40% total AD ratio is shifting to a 50% bonus AD ratio. Her AP ratio is also being adjusted from 90% to 80%. R bonus damage is changing, with the total AD ratio swapped for a bonus AD ratio, and the AP ratio dropping from 30% to 20%.

Patch 14.15 Champion Adjustments
Another spell that is getting nerfed is the one that sits on the ground, changing the total AD ratio to a bonus AD ratio. Many champions are under the adjustments category this patch, though these initial changes are strictly buffs.
Skarner Buffs
Skarner will see his health growth increase from 105 to 110. His mana cost is being lowered from 50 to 45, and a few quality of life changes are being made to his Q and E abilities.
Cassiopeia Adjustments
Cassiopeia is receiving some of the most notable changes this patch. Her base mana is increasing from 350 to 400, but her mana scaling is decreasing from 60 to 40. The Q mana cost is dropping from 50 scaling to 90 to 50 scaling to 70. The W mana cost is also decreasing from 70 scaling to 110 to 70 scaling to 90. The significant change is the E mana cost reduction, going from 50 scaling to 42 to a flat 40 at all levels. The Q AP ratio is being nerfed from 90% to 70%, and the E bonus damage AP ratio is down from 60% to 55%. This shifts more of Cassiopeia’s power to her early game, weakening her late game.
Irelia Adjustments
Irelia was recently changed in the last patch, and she’s being adjusted again. Her base health is increasing from 590 to 630, while her health regeneration is dropping from 8.5 to 6.
Akali Adjustments
Akali’s all-in power is becoming stronger early game, but her R ability won’t be usable as often. The R1 damage is increasing early game but will be nerfed later on. R2 damage is flat-out buffed at all ranks, increasing by 10. The R cooldown is being nerfed, up by 20 seconds at rank one. The W cooldown is buffed, changing from a flat 20 seconds to 20 scaling to 16 seconds.
Patch 14.15 Champion Adjustments Continued
Zed’s late game is getting weaker this patch as his Q base damage increases, but his bonus AD ratio is dropping. The R cooldown is also being increased, changing from 120 scaling to 80 seconds to 120 scaling to 100 seconds.
Silas Changes
The final changes in this patch are for Silas. His Q cooldown will be lowered by 1 second at each rank. Q2 base damage is increasing by 10 at all ranks, while the AP ratio is decreasing from 90% to 80%. The E2 AP ratio is also dropping from 100% to 80%. The major change is to his W, with the heal ratio being adjusted from 35% AP ratio to 20% AP plus 5% of Silas’s bonus health. The W damage AP ratio is being nerfed from 80% to 70%.
