If desired, the stars on the mask can later be transferred to other armor, allowing flexible upgrades across different gear for specialized PvP or other setups.

Effectiveness of the Blueprint Conversion System

The blueprint conversion system is incredibly powerful and well-designed, adding significant flexibility to gear customization. Before transferring stars between armor pieces, there’s an opportunity to craft the new piece in advance. For example, waiting until Phase 2 unlocks allows for crafting tier-five gear, which can then receive transferred stars without sacrificing the original piece.

Timing Crafting and Conversion for Tier Upgrades

While crafting tier-five boots, it’s possible to transfer five stars to a new mask without losing the boots. This method allows you to retain both upgraded pieces. Although it requires patience, this process ensures optimal gear without unnecessary haste, particularly useful when waiting for new phases to unlock.

Strategic Considerations for PvE Servers

On a PvE server, star boosts from armor may not be essential since they primarily increase HP and PSI intensity. If using a Bingo or Willfire build, the PSI intensity boost has limited value. With PvE in mind, focusing on HP and ignoring PSI intensity is reasonable, as builds like Bingo don’t benefit much from it.

Crafting with Elemental Damage Modifications

To enhance damage output, you can craft modifications based on elemental types. For instance, when using a frost assault rifle, select frost damage on the mask to gain a 5% frost elemental damage boost. This customization allows for targeted damage enhancements aligned with your build’s specific elemental strengths.
