Hey, it’s Librarian Husky, and today I want to talk about how the game world is more than just a collection of ideas. People, just like me and you, disappear into this reality, leaving behind the fake records and facades of fame. We strive for more than just material success, realizing that the world is bigger than it appears. My advice to you is simple: relax, focus on what truly matters, and do what you have to do. Don’t let the illusion of fame dictate your actions, instead, stay grounded and real.
Staying True to Your Values
We often get caught up in the noise, but remember that the music industry and record deals will not feed your family or pay your bills. Many people focus on the money they claim to have, but the reality is different. Keep your integrity intact, stay true to your goals, and remember that real success comes from the heart, not from the fabricated narratives that are often sold to the public.

Corrosion Build Overview
Now, moving on to the specifics of my corrosion build. In my opinion, when playing PVP, four pieces of the Savior set are essential. These pieces give significant boosts to your performance. For example, the boots from the Savior set provide a +10 weapon damage bonus when your HP is above 70%. While it’s important to have these pieces, flexibility in other gear is allowed, as long as you maintain those four core Savior pieces.
Key Gear for the Build
It doesn’t matter what kind of pieces you have, but the gas mask cat is essential because our build is focused on crit damage. This hood gives a 35% crit rate boost for 3 seconds when we trigger power surge, which is our main damage source when using the corrosion shotgun. This combination is highly effective for increasing overall damage.
Corrosion Shotgun Setup
On the corrosion shotgun, we use rapid shot with a fire rate of +25% and draw speed boost, but there is a -10% reduction in attack stats. For optimal performance, aim for around 50% crit rate, as it provides a significant increase in your damage output. You could try crit damage as well, as it enhances damage, but crit rate is the priority.
Weapon Mods and Optimization
For weapon mods, we are using the static shot B, violent, and some almost perfect suffixes. Ideally, you want crit rate, weapon damage, and weapon damage reduction. The fourth stat, if it had been max HP, would have been perfect. This setup ensures you have a balance of damage and survivability, making it an excellent choice for this build.
Accessories and Secondary Weapon
In terms of accessories, we use the extended brake, compact infrared indicator, and shotgun drum magazine. For the secondary weapon, it’s crucial to select mods that complement the overall build, ensuring you maximize your effectiveness in various situations. This setup rounds out the build by enhancing both damage output and survivability.
Weapon Selection and Strategy
I use the Bingo, though this is optional. You can choose whatever weapon fits your style. For me, the corrosion shotgun is ideal for mid and close-range combat, but I need something for long-range situations, which is why I select the Bingo. Other viable options include Wildfire, Out of Space, or even the soccer weapon.
Melee Weapon and Mobility
For the melee weapon, I prefer the Stomp Pon, which makes moving around much easier. This choice adds mobility to the build, allowing me to quickly reposition or escape dangerous situations. The mask I use includes Fateful Strike, violent crit damage, though the rolls on mine aren’t ideal. Always aim for weapon damage and damage reduction.
Mask and Stats Considerations
For the mask, electrocution and violent again are preferred. My rolls were decent, but not high enough. Ideally, you want crit weapon damage, max HP, and weapon damage reduction. These stats will improve both your damage output and survivability, especially during intense battles where quick reflexes and durability are crucial.
Armor and Additional Gear
For my top, I use the Li Forge boost. This piece is hard to find, but looting crates around the cities might help you locate one. Alternatively, you can use Enduring Shield, which is also a good option. Focus on getting solid stats like weapon damage. For the pants, I’m using Dread Deadshot, violent, with a focus on similar stats. Unfortunately, my luck hasn’t been great with rolls, but running The Silo with the fridge has helped me improve my gear gradually.

Gloves and Boots Setup
I am trying not to go too far without improving my gloves, which currently provide crit boost and violence. I haven’t gotten the perfect pair yet, but I’m hopeful for a better set with ideal stats soon. For the boots, I use Covered Advance, following the same mod stats. These pieces are essential for maximizing crit rate and damage in battle.
Cradle Modifications
For the Cradle, I use the Hang mod. The choice depends on the scenario, and while this one isn’t great for static shock or similar setups, I’ve made the best of it. My mod combination includes Hand Gun Enhancement, Long Range Enhancement, Sprint Tactical Combo, Swift Recovery, Deviant Energy Defense, First Round Blast, and Side by Side. It’s not the best, but it works well enough in most situations.
Weapon Enhancements and Strategies
While my current setup doesn’t show high damage on a dummy, in PvP scenarios, this build excels. The damage output is strong enough to dominate enemies in close-range combat. Additionally, I use the Mini Wonder Deviant for mobility, although you could swap it for the Gel or Samurai if you prefer. The Mini Wonder just saves me so much time during fights.
Final Tips for the Build
In this build, focus on maximizing crit rate and crit damage first. After that, prioritize weapon damage reduction to ensure survivability. This setup provides a balance of offense and defense, which will allow you to succeed in various combat situations. Hope you enjoyed the guide, and I’ll see you in the next one!
