Introduction to the Updated Lost Ark Tier List
The crucial question remains: which classes excel, delivering top-notch performance and unparalleled damage? After extensive analysis and testing, I’m thrilled to present the definitive tier list, encompassing all recent class introductions. If you’re keen on discovering the elite classes, stick around as we embark on this insightful journey.
The Bard Class Overview
First up in our exploration is The Bard, who proudly claims a spot in the S tier. As a pivotal support figure, The Bard wields the power to shield allies, enhance their attacks, and provide healing, proving indispensable in both raids and dungeons. In PVP scenarios, her strategy revolves around sustaining ally vitality and enhancing their combat effectiveness, all while proving to be a formidable nuisance to adversaries. Despite her lack of mobility and the challenge of mastering her support skills’ timing and placement, The Bard epitomizes the healer role within Lost Ark, drawing parallels to similar roles in other MMORPGs.
The Paladin Class Overview
Next, we turn our attention to another S-tier contender: The Paladin. This class introduces a dual-skill system, with yellow skills to bolster support dynamics and blue skills designated for offensive maneuvers. Highly sought after for any high-stakes end-game endeavors, The Paladin also leads the pack with unmatched support that significantly amplifies damage output. In the PVP arena, a well-played Paladin becomes a formidable force, enhancing team resilience while disrupting enemy lines. However, adopting The Paladin demands agility and precision, especially in deploying support skills effectively and strategically positioning them to maximize their impact.
The Sorceress Class Overview
Transitioning to a class that holds a special place in my gaming repertoire, we arrive at the Sorceress, strategically positioned alongside the Paladin in the echelon of excellence. Emblematic of the quintessential Mage archetype, the Sorceress specializes in the artful casting of spells.
Her prowess in PVE is showcased through two distinct builds: one emphasizing sustained DPS and agility, and the other offering explosive burst capabilities albeit with reduced mobility. Notably adept in evasion, her dodge skills, though brief, are remarkably effective.
In the competitive realm of PVP, the Sorceress excels with her impressive range and potent attacks. However, vulnerability arises when she becomes the focus of enemy aggression, limited by her arsenal for direct confrontation. The intricacies of playing the Sorceress lie in the strategic positioning and tactical decision-making, challenges that, once mastered, unlock the potential for unparalleled damage output.
The Striker Class Overview
Advancing to our fourth class review, we spotlight the Striker, a deserving occupant of the S tier. Characterized by its vigorous brawler essence, the Striker engages with rapid strikes, yielding considerable DPS. This class echoes the vibrancy of The Dancer yet distinguishes itself with an accelerated tempo and superior damage delivery, establishing its unique battlefield presence.
Introduction to Advanced Classes
Diving into a class celebrated for its empowering attack speed augmentation for allies, alongside a dynamic, bursty combat style conducive to both PVE and PVP scenarios, we encounter the Berserker. Despite its slower pace, the Berserker commands the battlefield with overwhelming force, earning its reputation among the elite DPS contenders for both individual and group engagements.
The hallmark of the Berserker is its burst mode—an identity skill that significantly enhances its capabilities and introduces a specialized attack for strategic deployment. Within the PVP landscape, the Berserker emerges as a formidable adversary, though its predictability may hinder progression in competitive rankings.
Nonetheless, the Berserker remains accessible for beginners in PVE, promising substantial area damage potential. For enthusiasts eager to delve deeper into the Berserker’s mechanics or explore other class strategies, I extend an invitation to peruse my comprehensive build guides, where optimization meets excellence.
The Artist Class Overview
Next on our journey through the upper echelons of Lost Ark’s class hierarchy, we encounter the Artist, rightfully claiming her place in the S tier. As a beacon of support, the Artist weaves a symphony of aid, offering a suite of enhancements including healing, damage amplification, and protective barriers.
Notably, her repertoire features attack and movement speed enhancements alongside rejuvenating orbs that restore 25% HP, embodying a multifaceted approach to battlefield sustenance. A standout feature is her ability to conjure portals, facilitating strategic repositioning for her comrades.
With ultimates that either debilitate foes’ resistance or fortify allies with robust shields, the Artist epitomizes versatility. This class, a harmonious blend of offensive and defensive capabilities, offers players the autonomy to tailor their support style—be it through emphasizing damage and defense augmentation or focusing predominantly on healing.
The Arcanist Class Analysis
Progressing to the Arcanist, who gracefully secures her position within the A tier, we unveil a practitioner of arcane arts bound to the whims of chance. Her card-based magic, intertwined with the unpredictability of RNG elements, presents a unique challenge that demands both skill and serendipity. Despite the inherent complexity of her identity skill, the Arcanist commands formidable power, exhibiting exceptional prowess across both PVP and PVE arenas. Her strategic depth shines in her ability to control the battlefield, ensnaring foes with calculated precision. The Artist, equipped with a diverse magical arsenal, stands ready to adapt to any combat scenario, ensuring her role as a pivotal player in any team composition.
The Slayer: A Female Berserker
Venturing further, we spotlight the Slayer, the distaff counterpart to the Berserker, equally stationed alongside the Arcanist in the tier list. Embodying the essence of a melee combatant, the Slayer engages the fray with a ferocity mirrored only by her male analogue. Her combat style is characterized by a relentless onslaught, empowered by a specialty meter that, once charged, ushers in a devastating burst mode. This heightened state amplifies her offensive capabilities and agility, culminating in the execution of Bloodlust—a skill that manifests as a flurry of lethal strikes. For aficionados of close-quarters combat seeking variety or a fresh challenge, the Slayer emerges as a compelling alternative, promising an invigorating melee experience.
The Artillerist Class Overview
Venturing into the realm of the Artillerist, we assign him a deserving spot in the A tier. Characterized by his methodical approach to combat, the Artillerist excels in dealing significant damage through a formidable arsenal of turrets, enhancing overall DPS. Despite his robustness, the inherent sluggishness of his movement may not appeal to all, presenting a challenge for those unaccustomed to his deliberate pace. In the arena of PVP, his strategic use of identity skills allows for effective area control. While the Artillerist may present a steep learning curve for newcomers, veterans of tactical gameplay will find his capabilities immensely rewarding, turning the tide of battle with calculated firepower.
The Deathblade Class Insight
Next, we shine the spotlight on the Deathblade, positioned alongside the Artillerist. Emblematic of the rogue and assassin archetypes, the Deathblade stands out with her exceptional damage output and debilitating debuffs. Her prowess in PVP is marked by a repertoire of freezing skills, making her a formidable adversary capable of disrupting enemy strategies. Boasting remarkable mobility, the Deathblade offers an accessible entry point for players, promising devastating offensive capabilities to those who master her build.
The Gunslinger Class Analysis
Following closely, we introduce the Gunslinger, securing his place in the A tier. Among the most challenging classes to master, the Gunslinger distinguishes himself in both PVP and PVE landscapes through a unique blend of precision and versatility. While drawing parallels with the Deadeye, the Gunslinger forges his path with a focused reliance on rifle weaponry, achieving peak damage efficiency with greater ease. In combat scenarios, his exceptional mobility and utility render him a formidable opponent, capable of delivering significant disruption and damage when strategically maneuvered.
The Destroyer Class Summary
Approaching the tail end of our A-tier classification, we introduce the Destroyer, a behemoth among the battlefield contenders. Characterized by his deliberate pace and monumental impact, the Destroyer wields the power to inflict massive damage through concise, powerful combinations.
His arsenal, rich in defensive capabilities, offers substantial protection, enabling him to sustain and retaliate with vigor. In the competitive sphere of PVP, encountering a Destroyer proves to be a formidable challenge, as his adeptness in employing his skill set can ensnare opponents with ease.
Distinctly, the Destroyer offers an accessible learning curve, promising mastery and effectiveness in combat. For those seeking a blend of resilience and control, the Destroyer presents a compelling alternative to the Berserker, accentuating a defensive prowess coupled with crowd control capabilities.
The Glaiver Class Introduction
Transitioning to another class of distinction, we explore the Glaiver, rightfully positioned in the A tier. The Glaiver , with his spear in hand, epitomizes agility and finesse, necessitating a strategic interplay between dual weaponry. Charged with the task of accumulating three orbs before initiating a weapon swap, the Glaiverunlocks a significant enhancement in damage output. This class stands alone with its unique counter ability, a trait that distinguishes it within the realm of Tier List. In the domain of PVP, the Glaiver emerges as not only a formidable adversary but also an exhilarating class to command. With a strong recommendation to experience the Glaiver firsthand, players are invited to delve into a class that promises both challenge and reward.
The Gun Lancer Class Insight
Adjacent to the Glaiver, the Gun Lancer asserts his dominance as the pinnacle of defense within Tier List. As the archetype of tank classes, the Gun Lancer facilitates a smoother PVE experience, empowering players to confront adversaries head-on. This direct engagement strategy not only alleviates the pressure on teammates but also underscores the Gun Lancer’s unique ability to mitigate and reciprocate damage effectively.
Beyond his defensive stature, the Gun Lancer contributes commendably to the offensive spectrum, ensuring his role as a balanced combatant. Ideal for newcomers seeking a protective yet impactful class, the Gun Lancer epitomizes the essence of a frontline warrior.
Whether embarking on solo ventures or navigating the intricacies of team dynamics, the Gun Lancer offers a sturdy foundation for any adventuring party in search of the quintessential tank.
The Summoner Class Overview
Embarking on our journey through the A-tier, we encounter the Summoner, a master of conjuration and control. Distinguished by her ability to summon powerful allies to her side, the Summoner excels in both offensive capabilities and defensive stratagems through her adept use of shields. Ideal for those seeking to master the intricacies of raid mechanics, her playstyle allows for continuous damage output from a safe distance. In the arena of PVP, her role as a formidable support element cannot be understated, providing significant tactical advantages to any team configuration. The Summoner stands out as an approachable yet deeply rewarding class for players at all levels of experience, characterized by her lack of mobility yet profound impact on the battlefield.
The Reaper Class Analysis
And then, for the last and final A-tier class, we have the Reaper. So, Reaper is a true assassin class. If you enjoy Rogue type of playstyle, then this is the one for you. She has a lot of stealth, teleport, and poison-based attacks. Reaper as well has two different playstyles: one is a burst mode with the moon engraving or sustain DPS that uses the thirst engraving. The difference is little between these builds, but overall, the moon setup is just a bit better. This class has very good DPS. In PVP, she also feels like a very good and fun class to play with. Most of your skills will move you, so she’s a very mobile class and probably one of the fastest classes in the game.
The Shadow Hunter Class Evaluation
So then, for the next one, we have the Shadow Hunter, and he gets to be placed right in the B tier. The Shadow Hunter is a demon-based class. In PVE, she plays more like a fighter rather than an assassin. She has good range on skills and damage.
And there are two ways to play this class. The first build focuses on demonic form, where you get a bunch of fun abilities to use, but then you get a bit less damage. For the second one, the build disables the demon form, and you purely use your human form skill for the highest damage possible.
Then in PVP, transformation makes the enemy scared of you, especially if you’re playing against newer players. So, overall, this is a fairly easy class to pick up and learn. The play style of the Shadow Hunter is super fun and skills spammy, and then finally, you will be able to do a bunch of damage, no matter what type of spell combo you use.
The Wardancer Class Overview
So then, for one of the last classes that gets to be in the B tier, and it is the Wardancer. Like I mentioned for the Striker, the Wardancer is a fast-paced fighter class. In PVE, she deals quick hits and that’s pretty nice DPS. For your play style, you have to charge orbs to deal your highest damage numbers. Most people use the no orb engraving for easier play, but it’s up to you. In PVP, this class is hard to master but easy to pick up. Overall, the Wardancer is a great class with a nice attack speed buff for the whole team, so it’s more team-oriented than the Striker.
The Aeromancer Class Introduction
And then, for the last and final B-tier class, we have the Aeromancer. The Aeromancer is one of the newest classes in Tier List, with the power of mystical illusion. She’s able to manipulate the weather to devastating effect on the battlefield or fight to vanquish the enemies with spectacular flourishes of her umbrella.
The Aeromancer’s identity is the sun shower. The sun meter will be filled as the Aeromancer hits enemies with her skills, and Sun Shower can be used when the meter fills all the way up, providing a dual benefit of offense and defense.
So, when you activate the sun shower, the basic attacks and movement skill will evolve. While you’re attacking, nearby enemies are consistently damaged, and your teammates and yourself’s damage received from the enemies is reduced. So, if you’re looking for a fun and powerful mix between a support and a range damage, then this is the class for you.
The Sharpshooter Class Analysis
So then, for the next class, we have the Sharpshooter, that gets to be placed right in the C tier. The Sharpshooter is a bow user type of class. He uses a bird as his identity skill. If you just take a look at the raw damage numbers, then this class does more damage than a few other classes in the B tier, but it’s only good for pure damage.
Besides anything else, you can’t really offer anything to your team. So, by counting in the play style, no buffs or stagger, no real positioning for the end game, and as you don’t really see this class being played by the top-tier players, that’s why he’s in this tier.
And then in PVP, he’s a very difficult class to fight against as your enemies always have to look out for the Sharpshooter as he has a stealth ability that makes him invisible. So, overall, this is an easy class to use, and he has a basic play style with simple damage skills.
The Scouter/Machinist Class Details
So then, for the next class, we have the Scouter, AKA The Machinist, that gets to be placed right in the C tier. As this class, you technically play two characters at the same time. So, you can use drone skills while casting Gunner skills, but you cannot cast skills that are Drone and Gunner combined. There are two ways to play…
The Machinist Class Dynamics
The class one is based on transformation Legacy engraving, and the other one being used on the Drone. Overall, The Machinist feels like an iron man that looks very cool, especially with his identity skill that makes him do an insane amount of laser damage.
The Deadeye Class in Depth
And then, for the last and final C-tier class, we have the Deadeye. So, Deadeye in PVE is a hard class that has to use three different weapons. The main DPS weapon is the shotgun. This class is strong and can be even top DPS if you manage everything perfectly. The issue with this class is that it’s super squishy and it’s very easy to get killed while using your shotgun skill. Then in PVP, this class is great, and it’s very mobile and annoying to deal against. Overall, this is a very hard class to pick up and get used to, and in hardcore PVP, it will require low ping to perform to its maximum potential. For an easier and very similar play style, I would pick the Gunslinger, but if you want to take up on a challenge, then good luck.
The Soulbinder Class Overview
So then, moving over to the next class, which I will put at the last D-tier, and it is the Soulbinder. The Soulbinder’s identity is very unusual. She has three Phases that you can put her in. Each Phase makes her stronger and stronger, and if you run out of Mana, then you have to regenerate the full before you can cast again. Then in PVP, it’s very mobile and has good engages to annoy the enemy players. Overall, this class has the strongest Awakening skill in the game, and it is a very good class by just damage numbers themselves.
The Scrapper Class Analysis
And then, for the last and final D-tier class, we have the Scrapper. The Scrapper has two ways to play this class. The first build has slow, high damage skills, and it’s called the shock build, but then the second one is more mobile with consistent DPS type and a bit more lower damage, and it’s called the agility build. Both play styles deal around the same damage in the long run.
Then in PVP, this class is pretty strong since it’s very mobile and has good approaches. So overall, this is an easy class to pick up. The different Mana bars might feel weird at the start, but it won’t be too difficult to get used to.
