Iron Hold Location

So this dungeon, Iron Hold, is located in Hawezar region, check the screenshot below

As you can see, there is a waypoint located right nearby, it’s called Ruins of Rakhat Keep: Inner Court Waypoint. You will visit it while completing the campaign.

How to Farm Iron Hold Efficiently

So the first tip is simple: it is easier and faster to farm it with other players, especially since you get a nice XP bonus for it. But it can be done by a solo player as well.

Now, once you enter the dungeon, go ahead, pull all the mobs, and at the first turning point you turn off to the right, as it is shown in the screenshot below:

Moving there you are looking for an elite enemy, marked by the skull on your mini-map. You want to kill him, as well as all the mobs you have pulled on your way, and get the Jailer’s Key from his cold hands. Obviously, the higher the World Tier you are playing on, and the dungeon’s tier, the better the loot and XP you get. But you can do this on any level and any World Tier.

Once you got the key, return to that turning point, visit all adjacent rooms to aggro mob packs, and now move to the left.

For efficiency’s sake, it’s better to ignore non-elite enemies and just move ahead until you meet elite ones, then you quickly farm all of them. Now you will reach a locked door, which can be unlocked by the key we got a minute ago.

It’s worth mentioning, that sometimes you will get a mini event there, which you need to clear as quickly as possible. Try to focus on achieving the objective, and then just move to the north and then downstairs.

Now you want to move to the northeastern part and eventually, you will get to the room, stuffed with a ton of Elite mobs. These guys are your main goal in this dungeon, you are going to be farming them for XP and gear again and again. And you want to abuse this method as long as you can before Blizzard takes it out of the game. I am absolutely sure they will nerf it in one of the upcoming patches.

So, once you farmed these Elites, which is, let me repeat, easier and faster to do as a group, you are done and you want to leave the dungeon and reset it.

How to Reset a Dungeon

For solo players:

• Open your Context Menu, and click on the “Leave Dungeon” option. You will be teleported to the entrance, and then you just leave the game and re-enter it. Once you do this, the dungeon will be reset and you can repeat the farm.

For a group:

• Everyone leaves the group and gets teleported to the entrance. Then a group’s leader re-invites other players (or those can use “Request to Join Party“, whatever is better for you) and you can farm it again. So, there is no need to leave the game and generally, it’s a bit faster than resetting for a solo player.
