What’s up, It’s Librarian Husky! The brand new update is here with the brand new treasure goblins, and we still also have the Mother’s Blessing event. You’re going to be getting these brand new treasure bags. We’re going to go ahead and go over the best methods to actually farm them and go into what they actually drop. These are great to get, obviously. 925 gear is kind of like the bare minimum for it being good, but on top of that, it’s great for getting aspects as well as just getting certain uniques for your character’s builds. Maybe you need to get certain aspects so you can actually run a different character, and this is a great time to farm and maybe build a second or third class in the game. For starters, let’s go and open up the treasure bags. I’ll show you how to get them, but basically, it’s just from the goblins.

Treasure Bag Details

There is a new event going on. I’m going to start off by opening them up so you can see kind of what you get. We got one scattered prism and two ancestral items, but no greater aices mean for me it’s not going to be an upgrade. Now, there are two different treasure bags: there’s going to be a greater treasure bag and a regular treasure bag. So, the difference between them, as you guys can see, the result generally, the other one will drop at least one unique item, so you can get another unique that you may need for a build. These can drop with greater aptic as it’s kind of random.

Advanced Crafting Strategies

If you’re not dealing with a greater AIC, you can boost your character significantly by adding ranks to a specific skill on the passive tree, which gives you extra stats. To start, you’ll need to collect sigil dust to craft sigils. You can farm these in any difficulty level that drops treasure bags, but I recommend pushing as high as you can manage. The harder the nightmare dungeon, the better the loot you’ll get, which also means the monsters—and thus the gear—will be tougher. Stick to levels your character can handle to keep gaining glyph XP from these dungeons. Keep crafting and using the sigils until you unlock the extra Shrine, which can really enhance your stats.

Efficient Crafting and Farming Tips

When crafting, I usually make a few items at a time, starting with three—for instance, sigils with attributes like Increased Critical Strike or Quick Killer Ancestral Awakening. Not all crafts need to focus on glyph XP, and these can be okay options. After assessing the crafts, I salvage what doesn’t work and continue crafting until I find sigils that specifically mention extra shrines. This might require several attempts.

Group Play and Crafting Strategies

Group play can significantly impact your crafting outcomes. In a group session, we managed to craft items with Critical Strike, reduced cooldowns, and extra shrines. If you run out of sigil powder, heading into Hell Tides is a good move. There, I’ll show you how to farm more effectively. For example, we’ll quickly tackle a dungeon to demonstrate this.

Optimizing Dungeon Runs for Efficient Farming

Hell Tides is particularly beneficial right now due to an increase in goblins, which means more opportunities to gather boss materials needed for Mythic uniques. The main goal here is to target specific encounters, particularly the Greed Shrine. Instead of completing the entire dungeon, focus on crucial segments that offer the most rewards, often allowing you to skip less essential parts of the dungeon to optimize your farming time.

Exploring the Nightmare Dungeon

This particular nightmare dungeon might not be the best, but our main objective here is to locate the shrine. While I typically wouldn’t backtrack to eliminate minor foes, the unpredictable location of the shrine necessitates thorough exploration. On average, you might find the specific shrine you’re looking for about once per dungeon run. We encountered a Channeling Shrine instead of the desired Greed Shrine multiple times, which showcases the random nature of dungeon rewards.

Handling the RNG and Dungeon Completion

It’s quite rare but possible to encounter four Channeling Shrines in a single run—just the luck of the draw. If we don’t find the Greed Shrine in one attempt, we continue by defeating the boss and moving on to open another dungeon portal. If you don’t need glyph XP for your character, you can skip the boss fight. A handy tip if you do defeat the boss is that you can use items directly outside the dungeon portal, streamlining the process and saving time on backtracking. However, if the boss remains, exiting the dungeon is necessary to continue.

Dungeon Farming Dynamics

In situations where the Greed Shrine doesn’t spawn, it’s efficient to just move on and try another dungeon. If gathering glyph XP is your goal, you should complete the dungeon fully. Farming becomes more effective when conducted in a group, as multiple players can benefit from the same shrine, increasing overall efficiency. Ideally, you don’t want to use the shrines immediately upon discovery, especially when in a group, to maximize the benefits for everyone involved.

Optimizing Group Play for Shrine Acquisition

During our run, we encountered several shrines including Blast Wave and Protection, but our goal was the Greed Shrine. After some bad luck, we finally secured a Greed Shrine. This shrine enhances our chances of encountering goblins, which are crucial for maximizing loot. Upon activating the shrine, goblins began to appear more frequently, immediately dropping loot upon defeat. It’s essential to keep an eye out for where these treasure bags land as they can sometimes be hard to spot amidst the chaos.

Goblin Encounters and Loot Collection

The goblins dropped greater treasure bags, varying in the rarity indicated by yellow or orange text. Monitoring these drops is key as each goblin can yield significant rewards. As we continued, more goblins appeared, enhancing our loot prospects with each encounter.

Efficient Farming Techniques

In this fast-paced environment, it’s important not to pause too long. Collect necessary materials as you go, but keep the momentum. If a treasure bag drops, note its location but don’t linger—focus on maintaining a high kill rate to spawn more goblins and increase your chances of finding more loot. Ideally, the strategy is to move quickly, kill efficiently, and circle back for loot collection to optimize both time and resource gathering.

Alternative Farming Methods

If you find yourself running low on sigil dust, don’t worry—there are other ways to accumulate it. One effective method is to venture into Hell Tides. This area is beneficial as it frequently drops compasses, which can be salvaged to produce additional sigil dust. Let’s not just talk about it; I’ll take you through the process. We’ll also open some loot along the way for fun—I found a sword, but I’m curious if it might be a Mythic unique, though they seem quite rare.

Efficiency in Farming Mythic Uniques

While I haven’t personally obtained a Mythic unique from these drops, it’s possible to find greater AIC species of gear here. If the items aren’t to your liking, instead of discarding them on the ground, salvage them. This not only clears the game environment, helping maintain performance but also recycles resources efficiently. Items persist in the game world unless you exit, so there’s no rush to pick everything up immediately.

Utilizing Hell Tides for Resource Collection

In Hell Tides, keep an eye out for goblins—they’re not rare here. Riding through on your horse, watch the mini-map for goblin indicators. If you encounter profane mine cages, use them to obtain more Cinders, which in turn can help you unlock chests containing infernal compasses. These compasses are key as they can be salvaged for more dust. Hell Tides is my top recommendation for farming not just because of the abundance of goblins but also for its overall richness in diverse materials, making it an excellent spot for gathering resources.

Goblin Encounters and Loot Management

Goblin spotting is key in efficiently managing loot. Keep an eye on the mini-map for goblin appearances—they usually show up every minute or so. When you encounter one, prioritize collecting the treasure bags they drop. Additionally, don’t overlook other valuable items like Elixirs or Living Steel. Sometimes, you might even luck out and find a cluster of three goblins together. It’s not common, but on the off chance you snag a non-greater AIC amulet with the right attributes, these can sell for billions due to their rarity and value.

Exploring PvP Zones for Additional Resources

PvP zones are unexpectedly fruitful for gathering resources, including high spawn rates for goblins. Engaging in PvP isn’t necessary to benefit from these areas, making them excellent for players looking to avoid combat while farming. Opening treasure bags in these zones might reveal valuable items like legendaries, useful for gearing up alternative characters or classes.

Goblin Hunting in PvP Zones

PvP zones remain robust areas for encountering goblins, despite any past nerfs to spawn rates. These zones can occasionally yield multiple goblins in close proximity, enhancing loot acquisition efficiency. Keep a lookout as these areas are known to provide rapid rewards, sometimes delivering multiple treasure bags in quick succession.

Efficient Farming and Dungeon Strategies

Nightmare dungeons are prime for farming, especially when hunting for specific items like seeds of hatred, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards. While battling dungeon bosses, collect as many useful resources as you can, such as Leing Steel, which are essential for further boss encounters. Although seeds are not crucial, collecting them can be beneficial as they’re exchangeable for other useful items at NPCs. This strategy not only maximizes loot collection but also enhances your overall resource management in the game.
