Best Brawlers to Max Out
Yo, what’s going on, guys? Welcome back to a brand new article on the channel. In this article, we’re going to explore the top brawlers to prioritize for maxing out this season in ranked matches.
It’s crucial to have a diverse range of brawlers in your arsenal, including tanks, snipers, and other strong options. Let’s delve into the best brawlers in each class to help you decide on your upgrades.
Tanks
Starting off with tanks, Hank stands out as the best tank in the game currently. He excels in various aspects, especially once he acquires his super ability. Hank’s defensive capabilities are exceptional, and his ability to cycle supers rapidly makes him a formidable force on the battlefield. His shield gadget adds to his strength, making him a top choice for both casual and pro players. Take advantage of Hank’s tankiness to secure victories in your matches.
The next tank deserving of your upgrades is Buster. Despite a recent minor HP nerf, Buster remains one of the top brawlers, thanks to his hypercharge ability. Utilize his hypercharge super to charge up with teammates efficiently, particularly in slower-paced game modes like gem grab. Buster’s gadget synergizes well with his playstyle, allowing you to engage enemies aggressively after using your super. Master the art of bursting down opponents swiftly with Buster’s powerful kit.
The Ultimate Brawlers Guide
That’s why Buster is so good and it’s the fact that he’s so versatile as a tank. You know, you can just use his HP for pressure and normally with tanks, tank counters do of course destroy them, but with a bust and his shield, he’s good against a typical tank counter. So that’s why he’s so good in the meta.

So the last tank you need to be upgrading is Ollie. So I do recommend maxing out two of these three tanks and then maybe like a heist tank as well, like Daryl, etc. But I’m going to recommend Ollie as well because Ollie still is one of the best brawlers in the game. He should have been maxed out by now because he’s been meta for a very long time. If anything, he’s got better. I know he got a recent HP nerf, but thanks to his rework to his super, you can just control where you want to super, so making him a lot more fluid. He’s got two strong gadgets in the draft, you know, one gadget, you can jump over walls and counter those snipers and just um throws, etc. And then if any tanks or any aggressive brawlers are close, you can just switch over to the all of me gadget and counter them that way. He’s just such a strong brawler. Easily one of the best in the game.
Now, moving on to the assassins. Start off with Kenji. There was actually only one assassin on this list because the rest of them are okay. But Kenji is by far the best brawler in the game right now. He’s so incredibly busted.
I would say he was on a lower bet. He wasn’t being used in competitive, but now because of his hype charge, it cycles pretty quickly and just it’s just broken. It’s completely utterly broken. You can get so many team wipes with it. is it’s one of the best hypercharge in the game, if not the best hypercharge in the game. And then on top of that, of course, he’s got his really good star power deflect a lot of damage. His gadget, his healing gadget, it’s just so much different ways to heal, but again, it’s all about that game changer moment with the hypercharge. You can just get easy team wipes. It’s just so broken.
Moving on to the support brawlers
This section covers important aspects of Moving on to the support brawlers. Understanding these concepts will help improve your performance and effectiveness.
Best Brawler Picks for the Meta
So I did have four here. I was going to include Barry, then I realized I went over the 15. So Barry’s also really good here, but because of no hot zone, I didn’t want to include him too much. So the first one’s going to be Gus. So Gus’s hypercharge has just helped him a little bit extra in the meta. It’s not anything crazy the hypercharge, but still just having the hype charge on a support brawler is very very good. And with Gus, he’s just always just good at everything, right? He’s a decent gem carrying, especially as a hype charge, you can defend himself better against those assassins. He’s going to be good as a mid in Other situations in bruleable. He’s going to be good in knockout bounty, cleaning duty as well. Any type of map that’s open, Gus is going to be good. He can pair well with pretty much everything.
And again, he’s got some decent damage going his way. His gadget still really good. There‘s just a lot going for Gus, and I think he’s got to be approaching the S tier.
Now, the next you need to absolutely max out for this season in ranked, it has to be Jay Young. So, I called it. He absolutely is ST in the meta. Some people very very underrating him. Other content creators, but Jay Young is so so good. How can a brawler like Jay Young not be good when he’s just got infinite stat boost? He gets his super for free every like 7, 8 seconds. It’s so incredibly fast. to just spamming constant speeds of the map, you’re going to overwhelm the opponents. You’re spamming constant heals, it’s going to overwhelm the opponents. And if anyone gets close to you, you can just pop over to your damage gadget and just deal some insane burst damage as a support brawler.
What is there not to like about Jay Young is so versatile play like literally reminds me of Max. The fact that you can play this brawler pretty much everywhere. Of course, the biggest biggest downside is that sometimes it might lack the damage, but most time you know you’re using a support brawler, most time you’re going to be pairing it with a big damage dealer. So Jayong you can use everywhere.
Top Support Brawlers
Make sure to use him a lot. So moving on to the final support brer on the list. It’s Going to be Grave. So again, Gray received another nerf to walking Kane and he’s still one of the best brothers in the game. If anything, he’s got better in the pro scene because what pros are doing again is that they’re using Gray as like a gem carrier. So what you want to do with Gray in Gem Grab is that you want to set up a teleport in the middle so your teammates can just teleport straight into the enemy gem carrier as a tank and just take over the game. It makes it so messy.
Of course, he’s good on bounty. He’s got good at it countering those throwers with the walking cane. And then once he gets the super, the snipers, he’s good in knockout again for the very same reason. There‘s no hot zone, but it’s also clean and duty. There just pretty much everywhere where kind of medium range because of the gadget reworks just made Grace so good. His hype charge is very good as well. He’s just so versatile. One of the best brawlers in the game. Going to be moving on to your control brawlers. Starting off with a bow. So, this is just one of my personal favorites just because of the hypercharge buff like a couple of months ago.
Now, it’s just really helped him out in the meta and you can never really go wrong with going bow. He’s a nice comfort pit most of the time in gem grab. You know, he’s a decent gem grab mid. He can do pretty well there. Unfortunately, hot zone is out. It’s one of his better modes. But then heist came in and it’s actually one of the best brawlers in heist right now just because the amount of damage the mines can do to the safe. The hypercharge can just do pretty much a clea. I believe there’s just so much like about him. You know, bounty knockout, he’s decent as well. He’s just a very well-rounded broad in the meta. you know, cleaning duty.
Grave’s Strategic Gameplay
Gray received another nerf to walking Kane but remains one of the top brawlers in the game, especially in the pro scene. Pros use Gray as a gem carrier in Gem Grab, setting up teleports for aggressive plays. His versatility shines in modes like bounty, countering throwers with his walking cane. With his super, he excels against snipers in knockout. Despite the absence of hot zone, his effectiveness across various modes showcases his strength, especially with gadget reworks enhancing his gameplay. Gray’s hype charge and adaptability make him a standout choice in the current meta.
Top Controllers in the Meta
He’s good for control because of those mines. It can help you pick up more of the trash. There’s just nothing to not like about bow in this meta. Just a good all-rounder. So, for the controllers, it is Lou. So, Lou technically, he’s a controller with a super, but he’s also a big damage dealer once he gets some freeze in, but Lou is still so solid in the meta. He was a top I think eight picked brawler in monthly finals and he didn’t receive a nerf whilst a lot of brawlers around him did. So, if anything, he could have technically got better in the meta.
And then with thanks to you know like Kenji being one of the best brothers in the game even though you know Kenji’s still got a decent match up against you know what I’m saying Lou will always have a spot because there’s always some type of a tank at the top of the meta there’s you know Buff there’s Ollie the Hank there’s so many of these assassins and tanks at the top of the meta Lou will be great into them and again even with heist being removed he’s still going to be good in bubble still can be using gem grab cleaning duty there’s still a lot of use case for Lou if you’re looking for a big heavy damage dealer defender then Lou is your guy last controller on the list is going to be Amber.
So, this is actually just preemptively before the hypercharge comes out Monday, I believe. I think Amber will probably be the best brawler in the game with this hypercharge. She’s just okay right now. I’d say like a BR in the meta. She’s just pretty much good it everywhere when you’re looking for a brawler, but most of the time is a better right now. But again, upgrade her now before Monday because best believe she’s going to be absolutely busted. The hype dodge is completely broken. And a good thing about Amber is that she’s got two good gadgets facing off against assassins. You’ve got the spinny one that does a lot of damage. Then it fits off against snipers. You got the speed one. And again, there’s so many like gears and different ways you can manipulate your build with amber. And it literally every mode outside of bounty and knockout, you can go Amber because she’s just good into everything.
Now, moving on to your damage dealers. Starting off with Carl. So Carl, even with the gadget nerf, it’s still one of the best in the game. Absolutely. It’s still the fact that by the time you know the opponent’s going to close you down, those buzzes, those mortises that are trying to get on top of you, well, your fire gadget is just going to help you get kills so easily. His hype charge still charges with two supers, which it’s nothing crazy, but it’s some good stat boost. And it’s the fact that Cole whenever he’s meta, he’s just good everywhere. He’s a really versatile brawler, especially in ranks because you can just switch over your builds, switch over your gadgets.
Best Brawlers in the Game
If you’re facing off against snipers and throwers, you can go with the flying hook. Most of the time, you want to still go with the fire gadget. And again, he’s going to be really good in heist because of the fire gadget. It’s going to be good in bralable because he’s a good goal scoring, good for pressure. Gem grab, again, good for pressure on the enemy gem carrier. You’ve got cleaning duty. You got bounty and knockout where you can use a flying hook gadget. There‘s just so much to like about Carl. He still is one of the best brawlers in the game. So, for damage dealers, we have Chester.
So, Chester is still probably a top five brawler in the game right now. He’s so incredibly strong at ranks. You can never go wrong with drafting him. whenever he’s meta, it’s like who actually counters this brawler because he’s got faster movement speed, a decent amount of HP, some good range, and a crap ton of damage. It’s just insane. And then you’ve got to think as well, there’s a lot of things going with him with his gadget. You can just spam out random buffs every 15 seconds, which is insane. And then it’s just a hype charge. The hype charge is by far the reason why he’s one of the best in the game is because the hypercharge super itself is so broken.
I know they keep nerfing the hype charge rate. It’s not enough because the amount of damage you can throw out literally over a wall is insane. The poison damage is insane. Everything about Chessa is insane. Now, we’re going to be moving on to your snipers. So, just before I forgot to mention as well, I didn’t include Lumi here because pretty much every single ranked game I play, Lumi is banned. But if whatever reason at your ranked, Lumi is not banned a lot. Just upgrade best brawler in the game probably still outside of Kenji. But yeah, I didn’t mention it for that reason. So, starting with the snipers with B. So, B still is one of the best brawlers in the game.

Analysis of Recent Balance Changes and Brawlers to Focus On
All these nerfs accompanying the balance adjustments can shake up the game dynamics. As highlighted, certain brawlers remain formidable, and B stands out among them. Despite the removal of Hot Zone, one of her preferred modes, she excels in Clean Duty. The challenge posed by Rattled Hive underscores her remarkable adaptability. Notably, the decline of her primary adversary, Mr. P, has enhanced her performance. She effectively counters tanks and excels on medium-range maps where her high damage output shines. Angelo remains a dominant force in the meta even after a recent gadget tweak. His agility and piercing attacks make him a force to reckon with, especially in game modes like Knockout and Bounty. His ability to swiftly navigate the terrain enables him to outmaneuver opponents, making him a top choice for Heist matches. Lastly, Guju, an artillery brawler, retains significance in the current meta, particularly with the removal of Hot Zone, solidifying his position as one of the game’s best without facing additional nerfs.
Benefits of Guju’s Versatility
So, again, the best thing about Guju is so much versatility. You can go invisible. You can have a shield. You’ve got a pet that has so much health and can slow people. You’ve got an attack that can just fly the longest range in the game. Near enough. It’s longer range than Piper. What is there not to like about Judy? She can float over water. There’s just so much about her that makes her so incredibly strong. You play her in Knockout Bounty. You can play her in Bravo even. You can play her as in gem grab in some situations. Every single game mode, there’s always like a use case for Guju because even if she faces off against, I don’t know, some assassins, blah blah blah, once you eventually get to your Gri, well, they’re just absolutely screwed with this low star power. Oh, you guys should know that anyway.
