Greetings, adventurers! Librarian Husky here, your trusty guide to all the mysteries and secrets lurking across Azeroth! In this guide, I’ll walk you through the steps to get a head start on unlocking the new *Shadow of Doubt* mount, so by the time Patch 11.07 goes live, you’ll be just a step away from this coveted achievement. As you embark on completing objectives and challenges, you’ll also uncover new zones, events, and treasures waiting to be explored. Let’s make this journey both exciting and rewarding—glory awaits!
How to Begin Unlocking the New Shadow of Doubt Mount
In this guide, we’ll go over how to start unlocking the different achievements required to begin your journey towards the Shadow of Doubt mount, set to arrive with a future update. By starting early, you can ensure that about 75 to 80 percent of the achievement requirements are already complete, allowing you to unlock the mount as soon as 11.07 officially launches.
New Mounts from Past and Current Expansions
Over recent expansions, Blizzard has revisited both older and newer expansions, adding opportunities to unlock unique mounts for players dedicated to completing expansion-based achievements. Examples include the Goodest Boy from Dragonflight or Zal’s Shade Hound from the Shadowlands, which was retroactively added later. Now, Patch 11.07 brings even more of these types of mounts, with the Shadow of Doubt obtainable by completing the meta-achievement for the expansion. Excitingly, it’s a double feature, as there’s another mount available as well.
Unlocking the Breaker Song in Patch 11.07
You’ll be able to obtain the Breaker Song mount primarily by visiting the new zone introduced in Patch 11.07. This mount is unlocked through an achievement required to complete the “Uzal Not Pass” meta-achievement. To unlock “Uzal Not Pass,” you’ll need to complete content across all zones in the War Within expansion, including Caz Algar, the Isle of Dorne, the Ring of Deeps, Hollowfall, and Ashka Head.
Starting with the “State of the Union” Achievement
The first achievement to work on is “State of the Union,” which can be started immediately in Patch 11.05. This achievement includes six objectives that contribute to the overall zone completionist goal. The first step involves adventuring through the Isle of Dorne, where you must complete 10 special encounters. These encounters typically include rare enemy boss fights that you can find while exploring the open world.
Using Add-ons to Locate Rares and Treasures
I highly recommend downloading an add-on, such as Rare Scanner, at a minimum, as it displays the locations of all rares and treasures on your map. This makes it easier to find rare enemies and treasure locations. The next achievement for “State of the Union” is “Treasures of the Isle of Dorne,” which is similar to other zone-specific achievements.
Unique Achievements in the Zone
After gathering rares and treasures for “State of the Union,” you’ll encounter some unique achievements in this zone. One of these is “Flat Earther,” which is straightforward to complete. Simply go to the main blacksmith area in Dagal and get flattened by the large hammer there.

Completing the “Flat Earther” Achievement
This achievement is straightforward, and you may have even completed it accidentally out of curiosity. If you stood under the big hammer in Dagal, there’s a good chance you’ve already been flattened once or twice during the War Within expansion.
Participating in “We Are Here All Night” Event
Next is the “We Are Here All Night” achievement, which is related to a theater troupe public event specific to Dagal. To complete this, you must participate in every play from the troupe, including “The Rivals,” “The Wanderer,” “Forget Me Not,” “The Cruelty of Dornick,” and “Thar’s Descent.”
Unlocking the “Star of Dorne” Achievement
The “Star of Dorne” achievement is also related to the troupe. As you advance your renown with the Earthern faction or the Council of Dorne, you’ll unlock bonuses associated with the troupe. Once you reach Renown 21 with the Council of Dagal, you’ll be able to talk to NPCs outside the main theater to receive these bonuses and complete the achievement.
Completing “Rocked to Sleep” Achievement
The final achievement in this series is “Rocked to Sleep,” which requires finding and reading the plaques of inert Earthern scattered throughout the Ringing Deep zone. You may have passed by these locations before, but ensure you click on the plaque next to each one. For easier navigation, check the Wowhead post for this achievement, which provides exact coordinates for each plaque location.
Achievement: “It’s Not Much But It’s Hard Work”
This achievement involves the Awakening Machine event in Ringing Deeps, similar to the theater troupe task for the Earthern faction. You must survive all 20 waves of enemy defenses to face the Awakened Machine boss, Awakened Fanks. After defeating him, the achievement is yours. This task is relatively easy if your character is well-geared, but the waves aren’t particularly challenging. Completing this simply requires waiting through the 20 waves and defeating the final boss.
Achievement: “Super Sizz Snuffling”
The “Super Sizz Snuffling” achievement involves finding treasure or wax in the open-world zones of Calar. For this, you need to collect 100 Odd Globs of Wax, which is fairly easy to accomplish through regular exploration. If you need efficient locations for wax gathering, specific spots are recommended for faster collection.
Finding Treasures Efficiently
For treasure hunting, the best spot currently is Hollowfall. Specifically, by flying around the Spreading Light area, you’ll find plenty of treasures scattered across the zone. If you aim to gather all 100 treasures, this area is ideal for farming them quickly and efficiently.
Achievement: “Notable Machines”
The “Notable Machines” achievement requires you to read all nodes on the machine speakers within the Ringing Deeps. Their locations can be found on Wowhead, which provides a map for each one. Some nodes are located in out-of-the-way areas or high up, so proceed carefully, but they aren’t too difficult to locate.
Achievement: “Beacon of Hope”
For the “Beacon of Hope” achievement, you’ll need to contribute radiant remnants to some of the Lesser Key Flames within the main zone activity, “Spreading the Light.” This involves lighting smaller braziers as well as completing quests associated with these Lesser Key Flames. Many of these flames are scattered around the area, and while they’re accessible anytime, you’ll need radiant remnants to light them. Participating in the “Spreading the Light” event regularly will help you gather enough remnants to achieve this goal.
Achievement: “Sharing the Light”
While working in Hollowfall, you can also complete the “Sharing the Light” achievement by engaging in larger events surrounding the major Key Flames. Unlike the smaller flames, these larger flames involve bigger open-world activities best tackled with a group. Teaming up with other players can make these tasks faster and more enjoyable.

Challenges in the Waterways
When heading towards the waterways, grouping up is recommended, as the elites and other enemies there can pose a challenge, especially if you’re not well-geared. Working together can make this part of the quest significantly easier.
Achievement: “Igniting Key Flames”
While completing the other quests, you can also work on the “Igniting Key Flames” achievement by contributing radiant embers to any Key Flames, whether smaller or larger. As long as you’re lighting Key Flames, this achievement should progress quickly.
Achievement: “Lost and Found”
This collectible achievement requires you to return all lost Hallold mementos to their rightful owners, beginning with Mayor Asheld. To start, complete Mayor Asheld’s initial quest in the central-southern area to clear out the local threats. Once done, you’ll receive a weekly quest to find a few mementos. Each memento contains flavor text that hints at its owner, allowing you to return it correctly. Note that this achievement is time-gated, as you can only collect three mementos per week unless changes are implemented.
Achievement: “Children’s Entertainer”
The final achievement for Hollowfall is “Children’s Entertainer,” which involves playing every game with the orphans of Merar. Although this can technically be completed through the main intro quest in Hollowfall, it’s easier when the world quest for the orphans is active. If you have multiple characters, you can complete all games in one session when the world quest is up. Most games are simple, though “Who’s Scariest?” requires entering the orphanage to find the orphans.
Game Variations and Challenges
Certain games, like hide-and-seek, have two versions: a regular and a challenge mode, with the latter being more difficult. There’s also “Flor is Under Sea,” which is essentially a “floor is lava” game, with an additional challenge version that’s more demanding. The challenge version of the floor is lava game is notably tricky, adding a fun layer of difficulty.
Using Specific Classes for Platforming Challenges
If you’re not confident in platforming or jumping puzzles, playing as a Dracthyr, an Evoker with the glide ability, or a Demon Hunter can make it easier to navigate these challenges. If you have an alt character in one of these classes, you might find completing such activities more manageable.
Achievement: “You Can’t Hang With Us”
To earn the “You Can’t Hang With Us” achievement, head to the City of Threads and alert one of the guards. They will begin casting a spell on you, adding debuff stacks. Once you reach 10 stacks, your character will be kicked out of the city, unlocking this achievement.
Achievement: “The Unseeing”
To complete “The Unseeing” achievement, head to the Mading Deep, located in the southeastern part of Ashka Hat. Here, you need to destroy as many Black Blood canisters as possible until you reach 100 stacks. Once you achieve 100 stacks, the achievement is completed.
Achievement: “Itsy Bitsy Spider”
“Itsy Bitsy Spider” is a collectible achievement requiring you to use the /wave emote at several weav rats, small spiderlings associated with one of the leaders of the Thread, known as the Widow.
Achievements to Unlock on Siren Aisle
The last set of achievements will be available when Siren Aisle becomes accessible in Patch 11.07. This means you can complete a significant portion of “Uzal Not Pass” now in 11.05, but you’ll need to wait for Patch 11.07 to finish “I’ll Remember You.” This achievement is likely the most straightforward among the exploration zone completion tasks.
Questline: “I’ll Remember You”
In the “I’ll Remember You” questline, you’ll follow “A Song of Secrets,” which is currently available on the PTR. Completing this story is essential for upgrading the new ring introduced in Patch 11.07. On the PTR, the story questline flows continuously, though it’s unclear if it will remain this way in live realms or if parts will be time-gated. This questline should be your priority upon reaching Siren Aisle.
Weekly Quests: “Serenity Now or Siren It”
For the “Serenity Now or Siren It” achievement, you need to complete several weekly quests on Siren Aisle. These quests are accessible in the open world and in the main camp area. Completing them may take a few weeks as they cycle regularly, though the cycle rate may change upon official release, as it currently moves quickly on the PTR.

Achievement: “Excavation Projects”
Currently straightforward on the PTR, the “Excavation Projects” achievement requires contributing to various excavations on the Siren Aisle command map. As you complete activities on Siren Aisle, you’ll earn the currency Flameblast Iron, which can be used for gearing up, buying collectibles, and more. To unlock this achievement, invest a small amount of Flameblast Iron into the events for each faction—the Goblins, Arrai, and Earthern. Contributing resources to each of these groups will grant you the achievement.
Achievement: “Cleanup on Isle Siren”
For the “Cleanup on Isle Siren” achievement, you must defeat all rare creatures on Siren Aisle. Since the location is new and currently in testing on the PTR, not all rare locations are known, but the island is compact, so finding and engaging with these events should be manageable. Joining a group for rare hunting as soon as you arrive on Siren Aisle is recommended to help you complete this achievement efficiently.
Achievement: “Treasures of the Storm”
To complete “Treasures of the Storm,” simply open 10 Rune Storm caches scattered across Siren Isle. As you explore, you’ll find these caches in various locations—some on land, others in caves, high up in peaks, or even deep underwater. Upgrading your Cersei Circlet grants abilities that enhance traversal, such as underwater swimming and breathing, and eventually the ability to fly, making exploration and locating treasures much easier.
Achievement: “A Choir of Citrons”
“A Choir of Citrons” requires collecting all Citron gems used to upgrade your Cersei Circlet on Siren Isle. Most of these gems are obtained by participating in open-world activities, such as rare hunting, slaying bosses in newly accessible caves, or joining groups to combat powerful enemies in storm zones. Nearly every activity on Siren Isle offers a chance to acquire these gems, which are essential for upgrading your circlet.
