Mister Fantastic: Who is Mister Fantastic in Marvel Rivals?
Mister Fantastic joins Marvel Rivals as the game’s 34th hero and brings a unique duelist role to the battlefield. Known in the Marvel universe as Dr. Reed Richards, he’s the brilliant leader of the Fantastic Four, famous for his mind as much as his ability to stretch and morph his body in incredible ways. In the game, he uses those powers in clever, tactical ways to throw off opponents and shield his teammates.
In terms of gameplay, Mister Fantastic is a tough, mid-range fighter who balances crowd control with survivability. Although he’s technically labeled a Duelist, he plays more like a Vanguard — soaking up hits, disrupting enemies’ positioning, and stepping in to help allies.
Mister Fantastic’s Abilities in Marvel Rivals
His stretching powers give him a lot of control over the fight, letting him yank enemies around and throw them off balance. Here’s how his kit works:
Primary Attack – Stretch Punch
Fires off a long-range punch that can hit multiple enemies if aimed swiftly between targets.
Secondary Attack – Distended Grip
Reaches out to grab an enemy, follows up with a punch that pulls them in. If another enemy is nearby, he can slam them together for bonus damage and a knock-up effect.
Ability – Flexible Elongation
Launches himself toward a teammate or enemy, damaging foes on contact and giving nearby allies (and himself) some extra health.
Ability – Reflexive Rubber
Temporarily enlarges his body, soaking up incoming damage and turning it into projectiles he can fire back. While this ability is active, he’s immune to crowd control effects.
Ultimate – Brainiac Bounce
Jumps high and crashes down on enemies, dealing area damage. He can chain these leaps together, each one hitting harder and slowing enemies caught in the impact.
Passive – Elastic Strength
As he fights, he builds up an Elasticity meter. Once full, it triggers a temporary powered-up state — increasing his attack damage, speed, and max health for six seconds.
Team-Ups and Synergy
- Wedded Harmony (with Invisible Woman) — When this team-up ability is used, any damage Mister Fantastic takes over five seconds is turned into bonus health instead.
