Kingdom Credits (often called KC) are a special type of in-game currency that Valorant introduced during Episode 7: Evolution. Unlike other currencies that usually require either real money or grinding through the battle pass, Kingdom Credits can be earned just by playing the game.

That said, Kingdom Credits aren’t the most versatile currency out there, especially if you’re hoping to buy fancy new skins. You can mainly use them for two things: unlocking new agents (which costs 8,000 Kingdom Credits each) and picking up cosmetics like player cards and sprays from the in-game shop.

One important thing to keep in mind: you can’t use Kingdom Credits to grab new agents like Clove the moment they’re released. There’s a 28-day waiting period before you’re able to buy a new agent with KC.

What’s the Kingdom Credits Limit?

If you’re the type who likes to hoard Kingdom Credits, you might want to rethink that strategy. There’s a hard cap of 10,000 Kingdom Credits, and honestly, it doesn’t take that long to max out if you’re playing regularly.

You’ll earn Kingdom Credits by completing daily missions or just by playing matches across any game mode. However, if you get penalized — for example, by going AFK or abusing communications — you won’t receive any Kingdom Credits for that match.
