Good day! It’s Librarian Husky. In today’s update, we will review patch 14.13 and analyze how the changes have impacted our Tier List. There were numerous buffs, nerfs, and adjustments, so let’s dive in and identify the biggest winners and losers so far.

Top Lane

Starting with the Top Lane, in the S tier, we have Aatrox, Camille, Darius, Fiora, Jax, Kayle, Kled, Sett, Vladimir, and Zac. Zac continues his strong performance in the Top Lane despite his nerfs. Vladimir makes a notable return to the meta with impressive numbers.

Champion Adjustments

Kennen and Teemo take a small hit, moving them down from S to A this week. Skarner’s nerfs finally made a significant impact, causing him to fall considerably in the Top Lane, the Jungle, and Support.

Low ELO Picks

For our low ELO pick of the patch, we have Sett. He has been performing exceptionally well for several patches and is enjoyable to play. Be cautious of a few ranged matchups like Quinn or Kennen, but with a favorable matchup, you can easily gain an early lead and start snowballing quickly.

High ELO Picks

In High ELO, Camille remains a top pick. She is extremely strong, and if you master her, you can dominate lanes, outplay enemies, and carry games 1v9. Our Top Laner to watch this patch is Kled. Although not as frequently seen, a skilled Kled player can be incredibly powerful.

Jungle Tier List

In the S tier, we have a plethora of choices with Bel’Veth, Fiddlesticks, Kha’Zix, Kindred, Lillia, Nidalee, Shaco, Viego, Volibear, Xin Zhao, and Zac. Fan favorites Lee Sin and Graves received buffs this week and remain in the A tier. If you play them well, they are definitely champions you can solo carry with.

Champion Adjustments

Karthus and Diana moved down from S to A with their nerfs this week, and Skarner dropped all the way to the B tier, similar to his status in the Top Lane. Zac remains in the S tier despite his nerfs.

Low ELO Picks

Our low ELO pick of the patch in the Jungle is Xin Zhao. He is incredibly easy to pick up and learn, but also very impactful in games. If he gets fed early, he brings immense damage, making him a formidable skirmisher. Pair this with an aggressive playstyle, and the solo queue summoner’s rift becomes your playground.

High ELO Picks

Our high ELO Jungle pick this week is Kindred. She is unique compared to most other Junglers due to her passive, which involves collecting marks and scaling into a nightmare. If you can invade, maintain tempo, and keep up with Kindred, you will carry harder than most other junglers, and tilt the enemy Jungler at the same time.

Champion to Watch

The champion to watch out for this patch is Fiddlesticks. He has been underrated for most of this season but is now being picked more often. If you know how to play him, he is insanely strong. His late-game ultimates can carry any game at the right moments.

Mastering Early Game Jungle Clears

You need to focus on mastering the early game and Jungle clears before progressing. Practice consistently to farm LP effectively.

Mid Lane Tier List

Moving into the Mid Lane, in the S tier, we have Ahri, Akshan, Anivia, Aurelion Sol, Cassiopeia, Galio, LeBlanc, Lux, Sylas, Tristana, and Zoe. Brand moves out of the S tier into the A tier due to his nerfs. Orianna moves up from B to A with her buffs, while Malzahar remains in the B tier despite receiving buffs.

Low ELO Mid Lane Pick

Our low ELO pick in the Mid Lane this week is Galio. He is winning an absurd amount of games across the board. He gets tanky quickly, has excellent gank setups with his CC, and can roam and influence other lanes easily with his ultimate.

High ELO Mid Lane Pick

A high ELO pick this patch is Zoe, who has climbed back into the top tier. Players are realizing how strong she is in the current Ludens midlane meta. With just this item, Zoe can one-shot rotating enemies and quickly stack up her Mejai’s Soulstealer, forcing enemies to surrender frequently.

Mid Lane Champion to Watch

Our Mid Lane champion to watch this week is Cassiopeia. Though not as commonly seen, she boasts one of the highest win rates in the game. Cassiopeia can take down various enemies, whether bursting through squishies, tearing through tanks, or executing huge flash-ultimate combos to carry team fights. If you haven’t played Cassiopeia recently, give her a try.

Bot Lane Tier List

Let’s move into the Bot Lane, starting with AD carries. In the S tier, we have Ashe, Jinx, Kai’Sa, Samira, and Zeri. Miss Fortune moves up from B to A this week due to her buffs, which have made a noticeable difference. Varus’s changes haven’t settled in yet, and his win rate has fallen as players struggle to adjust to the attack speed builds. Kai’Sa and Jinx continue to perform well.

Top AD Carries

The two most contested and most played champions in the AD carry role are Kai’Sa and Jinx. It’s easy to understand why, as they are some of the strongest AD carries available.

Low ELO Bot Lane Pick

Our low ELO pick in the Bot Lane this week is Kog’Maw, who has risen to the S tier after proving in recent weeks that he’s not to be underestimated. With his favorite Support, Lulu, being super strong, this Bot Lane pairing can help you climb quickly. Kog’Maw can melt through entire enemy teams in seconds once he has his core items.

High ELO AD Carry Pick

A high ELO AD carry pick this week is Zeri, who is winning a significant number of games at higher ranks. Zeri is hard to beat if she makes it out of the laning phase without falling behind. Her mid to late game power spikes are incredible, and without reliable crowd control to counter her, your chances of winning are low if she knows how to play Zeri well.

Champion to Watch: Draven

Draven is a champion to watch out for. In the right hands, he is one of the scariest AD carries in the game. While the average Draven player might not be terrifying, facing a skilled Draven will make you want to ban him for your next 20 games.

Support Tier List

In the S tier for Support, we have Alistar, Janna, Leona, Lulu, Nami, Poppy, Pyke, Rakan, Sona, and Thresh. There are still many great choices to main, with enchanters like Nami and Lulu excelling and a wide range of engaging Supports like Alistar, Leona, Rakan, Thresh, and even Poppy. Sona also jumps up to the S tier this week, making her a dream pick for consistency and scaling into any team comp.

Low ELO Support Pick

Our low ELO Support pick to play this patch is Leona. If you have been playing League recently, you will notice her impact in the game.

Top Support Picks

Leona gets tanky very quickly, and her CC and gank setup are among the best in the game. Pair her with a bursty AD carry who can capitalize on her crowd control, and you can dominate lanes, often diving enemies repeatedly.

High ELO Support Pick

A high ELO pick of the patch this week is Pyke, who has been in the S tier for most of Split 2 so far. He might not be as straightforward as some other S tier options, but if you know how and when to pick and play Pyke, you can carry games from this role.

Support to Watch: Braum

Our Support to watch this patch is Braum, who is having a fantastic ranked split. He is a perfect partner for many meta AD carries. He makes picks like Ezreal, Lucian, and Caitlyn even stronger with his relentless stuns, amazing peel, and multiple ways to carry games in various lanes and drafts.

And that brings us to the end of our patch 14.13 update. Thank you for reading, and we’ll see you next time. Take care!
