Hey! It’s Librarian Husky, and welcome back to another day in Destiny 2 for some more Destiny 2 news and the Final Shape slots Intel. Today, we’re focusing on Trials of Osiris and a very easy method to farm out some Trials of Osiris loot without actually having to play trials.
Maybe you’re new to Destiny 2, or maybe you’ve just joined us in the Final Shape, or perhaps you’re a veteran player that just doesn’t like to play Trials of Osiris that often. You’re more PVE focused. Occasionally, there is a really great PVE Focus weapon that is locked behind Trials of Osiris, usually, and it’s unfortunate when that is the case.
Acquiring the Assures Care Pulse Rifle
This week, there is one of these weapons; there’s a new pulse rifle in the game that I did want to cover, the Assures Care. This is available through Rank 10 in the rank trials rewards. Now, that’s not very high, actually, so this weapon is fairly easy to acquire, even if you don’t want to play trials that much.
The minimum effort to get this weapon, which can roll with what I think is one of the best PVE focused rolls especially for strand builds. The one that you’re going to be getting at Rank 10 isn’t that great, but the rolls that are possible, you can get Slice on this pulse rifle as well as hatchlings. I think there’s only one other pulse rifle that can roll with both slice and hatchlings.

Efficient Farming in Trials of Osiris
I wanted to talk about how to farm out trials without actually having to play them. This method requires minimal effort; you might have to play maybe one or two trials maps or matches, but for the most part, you will be able to get at least that pulse rifle and a few other rewards. Hopefully, another role on the pulse rifle without actually having to play much at all.
It only requires two things: one, you have to have a Bungie account—I’m sure most people do—and the other is you’re going to need a Twitch account. You have to link these two accounts, your Twitch account and your Bungie account. Both Twitch and Bungie accounts are free, so there’s no cost in doing this.
Linking Twitch and Bungie for Bounty Rewards
Then, you’re going to have to go over to Twitch and observe one of the many Twitch streams for Destiny because if you go to any Destiny 2 Twitch stream and the Twitch streamer has the Bungie extension app enabled, which I think most of them do, you don’t have to be watching a major Twitch streamer. You will see this popup on their Twitch stream in the left or right-hand corner; click on that, and you’ll see Viewer Bounties. It’ll also have the streamer’s loadout for trials as well as their win record.
As I said, link your Bungie account and then, once it’s linked, you can get bounties from just observing this Twitch streamer done for Trials of Osiris. The great thing about this is, especially early in a DLC or if you haven’t played Trials of Osiris much in a season, which I’m sure most people haven’t, as this is the very first weekend, you will be getting a lot of rank for these bounties completed.
