Hey there, Guardians! Hello, Librarian Husky here! We’ve got a lot to cover this week, from new Eververse goodies to what’s happening in the helm, new quests, and exciting activities. Let’s dive right in and see what Banshee has in store for us first.

Banshee’s Update

The reason I wanted to pop into Banshee today was because we’ve got a very highly rated Sword. It’s an A-rated one, so you know it’s not too bad. This is only going to be here for 24 hours. It’s a Temptation Hook, and I’ve always quite liked this because it’s got a caster frame. It’s Arc. This one’s got Vpal Weapon, Tireless Blade, Balanced Guard, Burst Guard, Hungry Edge, Enduring Blade, or Tempered Edge as well. Just so you know, 24 hours until tomorrow’s daily reset.

Eververse and Shaders

Now let’s have a look at the Shader. What do you got, Kider? Oh, we got Gold Leaf. Let’s have a look at that one. See, that’s a nice one. Gold Leaf, isn’t it? Yes, it goes well on my Festival trousers there as well. Gold Leaf, that’s good. Season of Opulence, that one. New Pacific Rush, but this is the worn version. Used to be very, very, very rare. Now it’s not. There we go. Pale whites and blues, quite nice. And then we got a Dead Orbit Resurrection as well. Oh good God, look at that. Oh, I don’t know, do I like it? Do you like it? I don’t know. It’s all right.

Personal Thoughts

I don’t know if I like it or not. Now, of course, we’ve got another story mission this week at the helm with Fail Safe. But don’t forget, we’re going to have a new NO mission, probably 005 this week. I’ll be writing an article on that as well because they can be a little bit complicated to find and to work out. I’ll give you a complete guide on that, which will probably be uploaded tomorrow, nice and early for you.

Red Borders Unlock

Hopefully, this week we’ll get to unlock the Red borders for the Aarant Action and the Corian Pulse. That would be nice, wouldn’t it? Yes, Weird Eng Gr is still in the helm. Look at that, how weird is that? Yet, of course, we’ve got week eight seasonal Challenges. Let’s have a quick look at these.

Week Eight Seasonal Challenges

Complete Act Two, Part Two of a Rising Chorus. Research and Development: complete the research quest of specimen ID NES 005.

Simulation Pistons and Challenges

I was right, minor swing activate Simulation pistons with a piston hammer. Three of those there, that’s okay. Aggressive exploration complete the episode Echo’s Battlegrounds playlist weekly challenge. What have we got here? Defeat Vex and AR damaging Gambit or Vanguard Ops activities. A Ring Spark defeat Guardians with Arc damage in The Crucible, and then rapid precision hits. Get rapid precision final blows. Bonus progress is granted for defeating Guardians and for every defeated target after the second one.

New Battleground and Patch Notes

Don’t forget as well, we’ve got a new Battleground this week added to the mix, Battleground Core. If anything is related to that or any secret things or any missing things, I will let you know. Now, we did have a small patch drop today, but actually, there are some quite big changes in it.

Golden Gun and Armor Fixes

First of all, for the Still Hunt Golden Gun, damage while using the Celestial Nighthawk has been reduced by 33%. That’s quite a big one. For the armor, they fixed an issue where the Point Contact Cannon Brace could spawn lightning strikes and unintended melees. That’s all sorted.

Artifact and Seasonal Activity Fixes

In the artifact, they fixed an issue where the Sniper’s Meditation was buffing Still Hunt‘s Golden Gun shots. For the Seasonal activity, they fixed an issue where finishing the Breach Executable weekly challenge would not complete the Aggressive Exploration seasonal challenge. So if you haven’t had that completed, that’s good.

Quest Fixes

In the quest, they fixed an issue where the ghost tracker message of Mik 10 would not properly be removed after all quests have been provided.

Guardian Ranks and Fixes

I’m actually quite gutted about that because I thought in Mik 10, after you’ve done all the lost ghost missions, it was still left and I thought there’d be more to come. There isn’t, it’s a bug. Ah, GED, never mind. Guardian ranks and Junior screen, they fixed an issue where the Transcendent Iconoclast titles weren’t counting towards the Guardian rank requirements.

Zur Buff and Strange Coins

Finally, another big one, they fixed an issue where the Strange Favor buff from Zur was not providing strange coins when completing ritual activities. Hopefully, if you got the buff from Zur this week or ongoing, you’re going to see more strange coins drop.

Vanguard Ops Playlist

Now let’s have a look at what we’ve got in our Vanguard Ops playlist and the modifiers this week. We’ve got increased Vanguard rank points, but it doesn’t say that anywhere, so whether or not that’s a mistake or they’re just leaving it on, I don’t know. We’ve also got an Arc Surge, a Stasis Surge, and a Void threat in there.

Nightfall Strike

The Nightfall this week is the Liminality Strike, the new one that came with the Final Shape. Very interesting, I think.

Nightfall Modifiers and Rewards

I have played that a couple of times, very good. What do we have here? We have our shielded foes, of course. We’ve got Barrier and Unstoppable Champions with a Void threat. Again, there’s the Arc Surge, the Vanguard rank increased, yes, Empath, and then we’ve also got Arc Surge, Void Surge, and an Overcharge on Machine guns as well. So that’s nice for the Nightfall, and this week’s reward is The Slammer Sword. Here’s the Adept version for the Grandmaster as well.

Onslaught and Boss Rotation

Going into Onslaught, we have VTO as the expert version here. What do we have? Let’s have a look. We’ve got Extinguish, of course, Galvanized, the boss rotation with SE Chook Ogre AWA to on Level 50. I haven’t played this for ages; I do like that too. Void threat all the chantos. Oh my God, look how late it’s all coming in.

Infamy and Gambit Rank Points

We’ve got infamy for the taking. It just didn’t kick in quick enough. There’s a Gambit rank points increase there, okay, that’s cool. There’s the Vanguard booster.

Crucible Rewards

I know we’ve also got double rewards for Crucible as well, but we’ll have a look at that in a minute. We’ve got hot KNE Empath, and they’ve got an Overcharge on rocket launchers and shotguns as well. In the Crucible Cyber this week, we’ve got Sparrow control.

Crucible Modes and Rewards

Here we go, just in case you want to check, here are the double Crucible drops as well. You’re going to get double drops at the end, which is lovely for collecting your weapons.

Pinnacle Raid and Exotic Weapon

The Pinnacle Raid this week is Crota’s End, and the exotic weapon is the Necrochasm Auto rifle. In its loot pool, first of all, we have the Abyss Defiant Auto rifle, the Fang of Ir YΓ»t Scout rifle, the Song of Ir YΓ»t machine gun, the Oversoul Edict Pulse rifle, the Word of Crota Hand cannon, and the Swordbreaker shotgun.

Exotic Mission and Loot Pool

The exotic mission this week is called Avalon, and for that, you can get the Vexcalibur glaive. In the weapon loot pool, we have the Regnant grenade launcher, the Prodigal Return grenade launcher, and other Season of Defiance weapons like the Perpetual Auto rifle, the Racon turbo, the Royal Executioner fusion rifle, and the Caretaker Sword.

Pinnacle Dungeon and Encounter Rewards

The Pinnacle Dungeon this week is the Duality Dungeon. Now for the loot pool, we’re going to look at the weapons you can get from each encounter. In the first encounter, you can get the Lingering Dread grenade launcher and the Epicurean fusion rifle. In the second encounter, you can earn the Unforgiven submachine gun or the Stormchaser linear fusion. For the final battle against Caiatl, the rewards await.

New Weapons and Armor Set

You can get the New Purpose Pulse rifle, the Fixed Odds submachine gun, and the exotic Half Shadow Sword. I don’t have that one myself yet either. The armor set is called the Deep Explorer Vestments. Here’s my warlock sporting the strange-looking little number.

Modifiers and Dares of Eternity Loot Pool

So, we got Vex, Cabal, and then Crota in the final round. We’ve got rank and file damage increase, standard modifiers, a solar threat, an arc surge, a void surge, and an Overcharge on shotguns and rocket launchers.

Dares of Eternity Loot Pool

Now it’s time for this week’s Dares of Eternity loot pool. The Battered Beauty Scathelocke Auto rifle, kinetic adaptive frame, the Extraordinary Rendition submachine gun, kinetic aggressive frame, the Brass Attacks sidearm, void aggressive burst, the Threaded Needle linear fusion rifle, void precision frame. Yes, you’ve guessed it, but this time it’s a tofy noosed stuck-up cuddly toy, the Code Duello rocket launcher, solar high-impact frame, the Imperial Needle combat bow, void lightweight frame.

Additional Weapons and Armor

Then there’s the Shepherd’s Watch sniper rifle, kinetic adaptive frame, the Honor’s Edge Sword, arc adaptive frame. Whether you’re into badminton or not, a brilliant prize: a pack of shuttlecocks. Eververse Update

Okay, it’s Eververse time. Oh, I got a bright engram there. Let’s have a look. Ooh, I got an Orweaver Shell, that looks bloody good. It’s a spidery, server-looking one. Oh, it’s still there. Look, I got space.

Store Update and New Shader

I’ve got to have a look at it, well why not? Oh, look at that one, hey that’s great, I like that. Sorry, I had to look, didn’t I? You can’t not look, can you? Okay, here we are at the store and, oh good news, we’ve got a new Shader. Well, it’s not a new Shader, but it’s new to me. It’s called Neon Splash. Let’s have a look at it. Well, you know, I’ll never use it. Well, you don’t know, it might go well on certain things. But I got to buy it, haven’t I? Because I got to have every Shader in the game.

Other Store Items

Vibrant Medusa, let’s have a look at these. These are 300 bright dust, that’s actually not bad. Tips of green, yes, tips of green. What do we have here? The Heartbreak Entrance transmat effect, all the way from Season of the Chosen, yes, there we are. Well, that’s quite nice.

Ghost Shell and Customization

We’ve got the Desecrated Ghost Shell. That is a mean-looking Ghost Shell. What season is that from? I can’t remember, somebody tell me. Look at it, it does look bloody good though, doesn’t it? I like that one. I wonder what it looks like with different Shaders. Come on, we got to try it, the Old Faithful, where is it? There.

Shader and Emotes

You go, Photo Finish! Yeah, it makes the glow change, so it does work. There we are, you got to do that because it’s worth looking at. Okay, that’s grand. We got the Glow Stick Dance, let’s have a look at the Glow Stick Dance. That’s quite entertaining, isn’t it? It’s sort of like calling in an aircraft mixed with Rocky and making an omelette. Very bizarre. How much is that? 700? I think about it. Let’s go down and have a look at the others.

Drone Flight Emote

We’ve got a Drone Flight emote here. Let’s have a look at this one. It’s an exotic one, so it’s going to go, what’s going on? Oh, I see, he’s just buzzing the ghost on there. I mean, it’s quite entertaining, I suppose. That’s a large controller, it looks almost like a loaf of bread. Yes, nice.

Dramatic Countdown Emote

What do we have here? Dramatic Countdown. Let’s have a look at that one. Four, three, two, one, and cue! Yeah, there we are. I’ve already got that one, it’s not too bad.

Ship: Archangel’s Might

Ship-wise, Archangel’s Might, ooh, this looks good. Season of Defiance, good grief, it’s a stealth fighter and it’s, God, that’s fantastic looking, isn’t it? Season of Defiance or Season of the Lost, can’t remember which one of the two. That is lovely.

Ship and Exotic Ornaments

That is a great-looking ship, really nice. How much is that? 2,000. Ooh, look, we’ve got a Final Shape Sparrow, the Azamu Runner. Let’s have a look at that. It is lovely. Look at that! Oh, that’s very, very nice. Wow, oh cool, look at the size of the jet. Oh my God, I haven’t got enough space, but I’m going to buy that one. Yes, okay.

Exotic Ornaments for Titan and Hunter

It looks like we’ve got three exotic Ornaments now for the Titan, Warlock, and Hunter. First of all, we have this one, the Ionic Fringe. What’s this one for again? I can’t remember what it’s called. Fallen Sunstar, yes, look at that. Pretty mean. I like that one, it’s very good.

Exotic Ornament for Titan

For the Titan’s headpiece, well, you know, exotic ornament, it’s for the Cadmus Ridge landscape. It’s called Chivalry’s Chill. That is pretty cool. It basically looks like something from Game of Thrones, doesn’t it? You know, it comes from behind the wall. It’s very good, I do like that. That’s nice indeed.

Exotic Ornament for Hunter

The Hunter’s got a chest piece. How bizarre is that? I wonder why they wouldn’t have a helmet. How odd. Anyway, let’s have a look. It’s for the GE Falcon’s Work and it’s called Pressure Stabilizer. It changes it quite a bit.

Exotic Ornament for Hunter

It’s got a bonkers-looking piece originally, so there we go. There’s that one for the Hunter. Nice.

Weapon Ornaments

Moving on to weapons, oh my God, have they buffed the Truth? Have they buffed the Truth? That sounds like something that goes on the news. Let’s have a look at the ornament though. What a strange-looking ornament. I do quite like it. It’s quite plain but you know, weirdly, that’s not too bad. I don’t know, have they buffed the Truth? Is it worth using? I don’t know. I think they have. I should look into that.

Projections and Entrances

A Buried Treasure projection there, Sand Castle because it’s holiday time. Renewal Entrance, yes, there you are, that’s when you wash your backside. Good. Oh, that’s quite nice. What’s that one? Vex Incursion Entrance. Cubes, cubes. We’ve also got an OIF Entrance. Yes, well, we all know what that is, don’t we? Yes, there we are. Good, it’s a bony donut.

Shader: Welded Brass

A Breezy Clear, yes. Oh my God, it’s like, you know, let’s all go to a festival again, isn’t it? Yes, and be happy and one with nature and kiss trees. We’ve got the Welded Brass. Let’s have a look at that. Not a bad Shader, not a bad Shader at all. Quite muted, but that can be pretty good. It can be pretty good.

Weekly Wrap-Up

As we say here in South Wales because we don’t say it at all, it’s nice, isn’t it? And finally, we’ve got the Flavedo Core. Sounds like a drink to me. I’ll have two Flavedo Cores, please, large ones. And there it is. It’s rubbish. Well, I don’t like it anyway. So, there we go, a nice large wodge of things to do this week.
