Good day to you, dear visitors! We are ready to present the next raid boost to you, this time covering the Serpentshrine Cavern, also known to the Burning Crusade players as SSC. In this guide, we won’t go around explaining all order details, since we’ve already described everything in Karazhan, Gruul, and Magtheridon pages. However, we’ll explain to you the mechanics of the first boss or two.

The name of the first boss you’ll encounter is Lurker. In the lair of this one, we have several platforms. The main platform, the North one, the East one, and the Southern one. We advise you to divide the participating characters into groups and put your Warlocks to the Southern platform, Hunters to the Eastern, and Mages along with one Shadow Priest to the Northern. The reason for this is the ads spawn. Two ads per platform come, and need to be taken care of. It might sound confusing at first, but everything will become clear once you personally witness it. Or, in case you don’t want to, buy our help, and we’ll send a carry to complete the Serpentshrine Cavern raid using your Burning Crusade character.

Serpentshrine Cavern is a raid in TBC you can’t pass by, definitely get a boost.

So pretty much during the ads phase, when the boss submerges, two ads appear from each side. Have your Warlocks use Death Coils and follow it with Fear. The reason for using the Death Coil first is because if you don’t, the ads might one-shot the healers. So have your Warlocks Death Coiled and Feared the mobs. At the Eastern platform, the Hunters need to trap at least one, or even better, both ads. Kill them ASAP before going back to the boss. And then you need to have your Shadow Priest at the Northern side correctly time the AOE fear, so when the ads come up, they would instantly be hit by the prepared ability. When that happens, both your Mages need to Sheep the mobs. Then, the DDs located at the platforms each need to focus on the closest ad at the main platform. Nuke each and every one of them down. Following the worked-out raid strategies in WoW is essential for the TBC boosting services to be successful, and the Serpentshrine Cavern is no exception.

The Legendary Lurker is actually one of the easiest bosses in the game. Not much to fail there. The tank needs to be located near the Western side for a specific reason, which I will tell you later. Regarding the boss’s abilities, worry about Whirl, a circle attack that also knocks the melee and the tank back. So get your Tank as soon as close to Lurker as possible after that ability. His next skill is the Water Spout. Remember when I said that the Tank needs to be on the Western side? That’s because a big spout of water will come out of the Lurker’s mouth, and after that, the boss will start firing a water beam while rotating around. The direction of the Water Spout indicates the beginning of the beam’s cast. The boss will rotate clockwise, and so all the DPS at all platforms will be able to react in time and get into the water to evade the beam. Make sure that your casters and marksmen evade it at all costs. Do that, and you’ll not cause a wipe for the whole WoW Burning Crusade raid if you’ve chosen the selfplay boosting service of the Serpentshrine Cavern.

I hate to say it, but that’s the entirety of this phase. All in all, it’s a very easy fight. The only mechanic you can worry about right now is Submerge. The boss goes underwater and spawns the ads. Вeath Coil and then Fear the ranged ones, and focus the melee ads on the main platform, as said previously. Don’t forget to help out Hunters and clear out their traps. Keep on killing the monsters, and Lurker will rise from the waters. Eventually, he’ll submerge again, so be prepared to fight away the new ones. During the whole fight, pay attention to the boss, and get into the water while he casts the water beam to not cause a wipe. Keep repeating the same pattern and the boss will be slain without any problems. Follow these instructions, and maybe you will not need any boosts for the Serpentshrine Cavern raid in TBC.
