🐺 Home – WoW – Raids – Sanctum of Domination – Sylvanas Fated Normal Kill
Description
Long time no see, fellow WoW fans! This time, our service will tell you about Sylvana lore and maybe teach a few tricks to kill her on normal difficulty in Shadowlands without using a boost. Indeed, most of you already know everything about her by heart. But it’s always good to refresh the memory and relive some of the events, right?
First things first, the raid itself and the boss. The challenge will become available on the 6th of July for US players and the 7th of July for the EU player base. Depending on the size of the raid group, the bosses will drop from 3 to 6 items, starting with 15 people at a minimum and reaching the maximum at 30 people. The items from the final boss will be 233 ilvl. That’s it for the technical introduction. Let’s move to completely different yet just as valuable information now, shall we?
Long before Sylvanas became one of the forsaken and took her place among the boosting kill services we usually provide in WoW Shadowlands, she was a high elf. To be precise, one of the prestigious wind runners of Silver Moon. She grew up with two sisters, Alleria and Vereesa. They played pretty significant roles in the Warcraft lore as well. But let’s not mention too much about them. Eventually, our heroine has become Ranger general leading all high elven forces. During the second war, she won her reputation as an intelligent and fearless leader leading her rangers against the forest trolls of the Amani Empire. At that time, she also recruited the first and only human ever to join the rangers, a man by the name of Nafanus Maris. Many disagreed with her decision, Kael’thas included, and wanted to dismiss him. Sylvanas typically refused that proposal, claiming he would make a loyal ally, boost the group’s power, kill anything needed, and be of service to the High Elves, maybe even in SL. Don’t you find it ironic that it was Kael’thas who was worried about betrayal?
During the same second war, the Windrunner fought alongside Turalyon and eventually forced the horde back into the Dark Portal. This Dark Portal was opened by Medivh and was what had allowed the orcs to come to Azeroth in the first place initially. After defeating the horde forces and pushing them back into the portal, the decision was to destroy and sever the ties with Draenor. Alleria followed the orcs in pursuit of taking the war to their homeland. The Windrunner, being the Ranger general, couldn’t forsake her troops and follow her sisters into the Draenor. Typically, Sylvanas decided to stay behind and do a service by finding and killing the remaining hostiles, boosting the chances of the alliance’s survival up to WoW Shadowlands. However, there have probably been times in the future when she wished she did go through the portal.
Sylvanas is scary to kill, but our service thinks such SL boosts are regular.
The third war began just under 15 years after the second war concluded, and things started to go badly for our heroine. After becoming corrupted by the Lich King, betraying the the alliance, and murdering his father, King Terenas, Prince Arthas shows up, hoping to use the powers of the Sunwell to resurrect his little friend Kel’Thuzad. The Windrunner made a valiant attempt to save Silvermoon but was eventually overcome and mostly wounded by Arthas in single combat. Typically, Arthas was furious at Sylvanas for holding him back from his plans for so long, and he wouldn’t kill her and grant her the clean death that she requested; our WoW boosting service in SL wouldn’t go to such lengths, by the way. Instead, he corrupted her body and brought her back as a banshee under the Lich King’s command.
In her banshee form, she was detached from her mortal body, though Arthas kept it to taunt her since he was the kind of guy who held a grudge. The official story given by the High Elves at the time was actually that she died a hero of valiantly defending the land from the undead. And that her body has been burned to ash in the fire that destroyed Silvermoon. Word of her true fate spread relatively soon, though. In her new form, our heroine was bound entirely to the will of the Lich King and, therefore, by proxy, to Arthas’s will. Sylvanas wanted to be killed; you can help her if you buy our average carry in Shadowlands.
Due to Arthas being the best that he was, he decided to allow her to keep her self-awareness so she could witness the destruction of her people firsthand. He forced her to watch as he killed the High Elf king Anasterian Sunstrider and the resurrection of Kel’Thuzad. She was also forced to stand there and watch them bring Archimonde, the second in command of the Burning Legion, into the world with the intent to destroy it entirely. Still unable to break fromArs’ss the hole in her, she became one of his forces’ leaders, helping him purge Lordaeron from the living. Sylvanas has gone through hell to become the final boss of WoW SL and become a victim of countless regular kill-boosting services. During this period, she managed to get hold of her body which she then repossessed and became a sort of reanimated corpse, one of the undead, rather than just a banshee. This explains why the Windrunner looks the way she does today.
At the end of the third war, when the races of Azeroth banded together to defeat Archimonde at the world tree, the Lich King’s grip on the Windrunner began to fade. Again, remember that Arthas isn’t the Lich King at this point which only happens later when they merge into one at Icecrown.
Our heroine, the intelligent cookie shears, kept this information from Arthas. She feigned allegiance to him until the opportunity arose to take her revenge. She orchestrated an ambush in which she managed to paralyze him with a poison arrow. Arthas thinking it was over for him, asked her to finish him. Of course, She is pretty pissed off with Arthas by this point and refuses. She tells him that he’s going to suffer as she has suffered. Unfortunately for Sylvanas, at that very moment, Kel’Thuzad turns up; usually, he kills her banshees and manages to rescue Arthas, buying him more time to service and adding a new order to our SL boost list. Luckily, the Windrunner manages to escape, telling Arthas that she will never stop hunting him.

Now that she was truly free from Arthas’s hold, she attempted to resume her previous life but quickly realized she couldn’t. What had been done to her had corrupted her forever, and the natural world no longer responded to her as it once did when she was a High Elf. Our heroine decided to embrace what she had become and raised an army to conquer the Plaguelands, the now decimated lands that were once Lordaeron before Arthas conquered them. To achieve this, she first had to defeat the Dreadlords, who had taken advantage of Arthas’s absence to take control of these lands for themselves. The Dreadlords had invited Sylvanas to be part of their plan to overthrow Arthas. Still, she had refused to join them as she had plans of her own, only to ultimately become a target of the killing boosting services in WoW Shadowlands.
Windrunner was successful in conquering the Plaguelands and was able to kill and enslave the Dreadlords. She even forced one of the Dreadlords that she managed to enslave, named Varimathras, to kill another Dreadlord known as Balnazzar, even though it was strictly forbidden for Dreadlords to kill one another. By conquering the Plaguelands, she could make a home for the Forsaken, who were the undead now freed from Arthas’s control. Though sadly, they were seen as nothing more than monsters by the other races, who wished only to hunt them down and kill them. Sylvanas typically tried her best to buy her people a ticket to the bright future, not let them get killed, and carry them from the SL abyss. With the help of her new people, Sylvanas founded the Undercity beneath the ruins of old Lordaeron and was eventually able to gain an alliance with the horde. That leads us to the events of World of Warcraft.
During classic, our heroine was relatively quiet. She ruled her new people, the forsaken, and she continued to plot her eventual revenge against Arthas for what he had done to her and against the the alliance for turning her back on her people. During this period, she continued to free as many of the undead from Arthas’s control as possible to boost the ranks of the Forsaken. One of the Forsaken she managed to turn was Nathanos Marris. We mentioned earlier that he was a human ranger, and she made him her champion. Although in undeath, their apparent romance is far less clear-cut. As though they display a deep loyalty to one another, Nathanos later mentions that his heart no longer has any room for anything but rage and contempt, unlike in his mortal form. Which, to be honest, doesn’t sound like the makings of happy home life. Again throughout the Burning Crusade, the Windrunner is quiet for the most part, most notably offering her support in bringing the Blood Elves into the horde. But we already know that Sylvanas will become the final boss to kill in a specific Shadowlands raid, carries which people will buy at even everyday difficulties.
And with that, we are going to stop. We managed to cover a large portion of the Windrunner’s story, but more is yet to be discovered. We will continue telling her story on another page, of more incredible difficulty than the one explained here. So if you are genuinely interested, make sure you find it among our other WoW boosts. Feel free to contact our managers in case you need help with it. Don’t let the Banshee Queen wait! Goodbye.
