Welcome to the page about World of Warcraft flying boost! The article is going to expand your horizons of awareness.
Originally, there were no flights in the game. Except for several specific air routes, heroes had to travel around by walking or riding a horse. First opportunity to literally ascend appeared with the Burning Crusade expansion. It used to be possible to hover in Outlands in the beginning, but later this possibility spread to the whole Azeroth. Since then, residents of World of Warcraft got really used to the convenience of flying around, but it requires unlocking first so why not ease the burden and simply buy a boost of it?
The great argument
With the Warlords of Draenor expansion, the developers decided that it would make much more sense if champions would explore the new content by walking. Blizzard wanted to completely cut out flights from the game. But it were the players who messed up this idea. The community has raised a huge flurry of indignation and made the devs change their mind. As a result, we have a compromised version of the transporting system in all the later updates. Now, in World of Warcraft, only those who have boosted their way through the new content can get to the actual flying, whether server they play – it’s the same for US and EU!
